Oranis is a project that a lot of us have been working on for a long time.
We have really high hopes for this server, but at the moment we don't have as many people helping with development as we wish we could have. Oranis is trying to change how minecraft is played.. Remember how minecraft used to be? Before loads of minigames, and every server being almost the same? Well we are trying to be different, than all of these new servers, we have multiple gamemodes, all synced up into one server. We have very high hopes for Oranis, but we need as much help as we can get. That's where this forum post comes into play.
We are now only accepting Jr. Mods, Mods, Builders, and a Staff Manager
Managers:
There are three types of managers we are in need of on Oranis, the first of which being community manager, these people will need to be great at interacting with players, and managing the community, as the name implies.
The next manager position is staff manager, most of these are pretty self explanatory, you manage low-level staff promotions, and a sort of point system we have set up, which we can explain once you apply.
The final manager role is General Manager, which basically is meant to be for someone who manages a little bit of everything, still without complete responsibility, but a high amount of power.
All of these manager positions require a mature personality, and require you to be at least 16 years of age. It is also recommended that you have at least one year of experience being a staff member on other servers.
Developers:
We don't require that developers know how to code in any sort of coding language, but it would greatly increase your chances of being accepted. Any sort of skill that helps with development, such as configuring existing plugins, can be put to use.
Again, this staff position requires you to be at least 16 years old, and have at least 1 year of experience. Again, there is some leniency with that rule.
Builders/Designers:
We are at a loss for the amount of builders we have on our server currently, this server, we have builders, and we have designers, builders build things, such as buildings, shops, other things, designers on the other hand, have a few different options, you can decorate interiors, and with the amount of buildings we have in the city, there's a lot of work to be done. Another thing we need designers for is custom textures for different items and blocks, and also server art. We have a little bit more leniency on the age requirement for these positions, as they don't come with as much responsibility, though we still expect a mature personality, and you need to be at the very least 14 years old.
Moderators, and Jr. Moderators:
These are people we require to do community moderation, once we release the server, in the meantime, you'd be helping out admins and managers with getting pre-release tasks finished, you can't become a mod and expect to just sit around while everyone else prepares the server. Some other responsibilities mods will have when the server opens, is to moderate chat, jail players who break the rules, and contact managers about any more severe punishments.
Helpers:
This position doesn't come with much responsibility, except just helping players find their way around, and things like that, if you do enough as a helper, you'll have a chance of being promoted to Jr. Moderator, which comes with more responsibility and power.
Media:
If you have a Youtube or Twitch channel with a solid amount of subscribers, (at least 150) you can receive the media rank, which allows you to promote your channel on the server, provided in return you make videos on the server, and promote it to your subscribers.
Some things about the server:
Oranis has a massive custom city, with a completely custom world, which at the moment is 15,000 by 20,000 blocks, and in the future we plan to get to around 30,000 by 40,000.
We are going to have city survival, along with survival in the wilderness, with our own kind of economy, plus we even have a few minigames. We have multiple seasons of the server, and a story line that goes along with server events. There are three "factions" that we will have, which you can join and fight along with against the opposing ones, and the winning faction will have the story change in their favor.
Cities/Towns:
As well as having our main city, you can also find custom towns and villages all around the map, and raid-able castles, dungeons, and tons of other structures for the player's enjoyment.
Perks and Upgrades:
We didn't want Oranis to be a pay-to-win server, but we still have premium ranks. There are multiple ways to get these, one is by earning loads of tokens, from playing on the server lots, and doing different challenges. Another way of earning tokens, is straight up buying tokens packs off the server, with each pack giving enough tokens to purchase a rank, as well as being able to use tokens for anything else in our custom token shop.
Super cool plugins and other things:
We have so many different things for everyone to use on the server, and it's really hard to get bored of it all. As soon as you think you've done everything there is to do, there's so much more.

We have a website that is in development. There are tons of things we've included in the website, so anything you need to figure out, there will be a way there.
