i disagree with this purely because I don't want YOU to get your warning points removed

The title of the thread really just looks like you want your warnings removed, but I agree that warning should expire, especially if they are for a rule that no longer exists.

It's pretty much like wanting to get your "criminal record" reset, far fetched but that's how it is. Without a constant reminder to not do something, it will only further incline you to do it again when the chance presents itself because you'd know that it would eventually expire and that it won't matter anymore.

That's not true, there are rules here that are mainly to keep the forums organized. When you ask for a vouch copy on a thread it wouldn't go into your criminal record. When you ask for reputation from people it wouldn't go into your criminal record. This is not the same at all. You're talking about severe rules violations which I agree should remain as a form of warning points, but violations that are like that? Why do I still have those points for "selling a minecraft account" and "posting referral links" from 2016? Alright, I get it, I messed up, didn't know the rules, but why should it get me closer to a ban when I am really not a bad influence here?

Never advertised a competitor, I PM Mick about it (he gave me the points), No response or justification.
Warnings should have an expiration date (1month - 1 year depending on the offense)... Or at least justify the warnings when giving them out.

Many staff give warnings on the slightest things, and never justify why or where that warning came from. It's one thing to read the rules, and it's another to make sure the rules are proper.

Yes, there are rules that I know I broke, but there are numerous warnings I have obtained which there is no justification? Members can do their job, but the staff gotta do theirs as well and give meaningful warnings.

Thus, because staff may not always be the brightest, either show proof or a screenshot like they force us to do with reputation OR have the warnings expire eventually.

You got 76 warning points in total, how come you're not banned yet? (No hate on you btw, just wondering).
