Introduction
Hello MC-Market community.
We would like to introduce ourselves to the Minecraft community by coming to the number one place that a majority of well experienced individuals from this fantastic community.
We are a upcoming Minecraft java based network within the game versions of 1.8.x-1.16.x with the goal of providing a non Pay-To-Win experience.
Currently MercyPvP is still in development however our forums are online and operation.
We don't have an exact projected date yet for our release however we wish to take our time to some extent to ensure a quality and balanced experience on MercyPvP.
Our Available Staff Positions
We are in need of new helpers and moderators to join our staff team. We want to create a team of well-versed people to come onto our staff team and learn how to be even more successful over a period of time, and we can learn from them as well in the process which sounds like a win-win for us.
We are looking for:
Helpers [5x]
Moderators [2-3x]
Our Staff Requirements for MercyPvP
As we are in development the requirements that retain to in-game/forums activity are voided for this period of time.
- Be at least 15 years of age -
- Have been apart of our community at least 2 weeks -
- Played in game for more then 24 hours -
- Have an account on our forums for more then 7 days -
- Staff Experience for PvP based gamemodes preferred -
- Ability to record, capture, and show evidence if necessary -
Our Expectations of Helpers and Moderators on MercyPvP
Helpers on MercyPvP are expected to be more of a chat based moderator, such as handling any chat violations by gathering evidence of the situation and handling it swiftly and appropriately
Moderators on MercyPvP are expected to be there to handle chat violations when the helpers can't keep up with the chat anymore or if they are making mistakes in their punishments or not being professional to the community. We ask the moderators on MercyPvP to give said helpers making mistakes or having issues advice on how to improve their abilities and grow as a staff member overtime on MercyPvP.
Moderators are also expected to be proficient in spectating users, screen sharing if necessary, and having the ability to make quick decisions without biased judgement.
It sounds like a lot of stressful things but honestly with our community's size at the moment we don't expect to see a spike in toxicity, or rule violations anytime soon however if there were to be an increase of rule violations. We are sure with the staff team will be more then sufficient to handle anything that comes to their way if not we have no issues offering our own assistance if need be because we want everyone to feel like a family at MercyPvP's Staff Team.
