Minecon Cape Codes

So at the moment you can't buy or sell cape codes (yeah I just saw that suggestion). That just triggers me even more. Why, exactly, are we not allowed to buy and sell cape codes? Why can't premium or supreme members do it or something like that. Thats just stupid, because a lot of us want cape codes or are planning to buy them and with MCM making that rule it makes us go out of our way to find somebody instead of just saying "Hey looking to pre-order a cape code hit me up!!" In SB. If we can't sell cape codes why can we sell cape accounts? In fact cape codes have less of a scam rate than cape accounts and og accounts if you know how to use them because you can just put them on the account you want and then pay and the person will have no way of taking it back, so if you are dealing with a sketchy person just make them go first and you will be fine. Idk though what are your thoughts mcm?

But i think we should be allowed to sell cape codes because i have one for sale for 150-200$ and i cant sell it

Not trying to be rude man, but I don't think this will be accepted soon. I'm honestly not sure why you thought it would be implemented in a few days... staff always takes a good while to decide on things, and I'm not even sure if they've had a meeting since you first tagged them. Beyond that, suppose they have accepted it. Adding the new interface and verification system would take time to implement.

Be patient; I can tell you now this likely will not be implemented by the time capes are out (this Monday?).

I agree, adding minecon cape codes would be a great addition to MCM.

I do believe that it should be added, but I think the reason they don't want to add it is because it is hard to verify if a cape code is actually real and not something made up.

I think that if you click on a valid code, it will prompt you for your login info. If you click on an invalid code, it will give you an error message. I'm not sure about this as I've yet to use a code myself, but this is what I remember hearing off the top of my head.

Now, even if this is true, I have no idea how hard it would be to design a script to check this automatically as I'm not a coder. It does sound like it would be difficult to do, but again, I don't really know.
