On behalf of my friend Fabio's post, I thought I'd share some words about the genius in Minecraft: The Distinct.
For those of you out there who own or run a small Minecraft server that puts a new spin on things (or if you are looking for such servers as a player), The Distinct is just what you're looking for.
They're a community that aims to "enhance the norm" for Minecraft Multiplayer. Instead of majority of the community playing all the same big name servers that crank out all the popular content, they want those smaller, lesser known servers to get the intention they deserve. I.e. more players, better publicity, etc.
Best part about it is there's a zone for everyone. Server owners, players looking to play, players with staff experience who may want to show off their portfolio, developers who may want to show off their capacity, etc. The list goes on. Their YouTube channel may also be of use if you check out their upload-request channel.
Whatever the case may be, if you're fond of a unique & creative experience on Minecraft as opposed to just another prison, survival, or factions server, join The Distinct.
