Mojang staff acc duped?

This is honestly weird, seems like a lot of names are being duped. Even though the chances are slim to none, maybe it could just be a glitch with the site? (Highly doubt it, but still. Yes, I'm not an expert or have much knowledge on accounts and how this happens, just tossing out my 2 cents.)

accs havent been able too be duped unless the name was changed/ created at the same time im assuming its an API glitch

The Nein accounts were from a moment when mojang deleted a fuckton of unmigrateds (for fraud (paying the game then chargebacking) if I remember correctly) by mistake, those names were available to be taken durring that time, another example is Breanna (an account I got in a trade)

Then, have you got any theories on wtf is going on with this new batch of dupes? API error is the best explanation I’ve gotten so far.

depending on which api endpoint you use, the profiles are 'ghost' profiles. if you go to the uuid directly, it'll show the name, but if you search the name it'll bring you back the non-duped acc with no mention of the duped 'acc'.

Not sure I understand the explanation tbh. When I looked up the profiles for Thor, Dog, Marc etc, it pulled up 2 accounts for me.
