This is a role for a builder who wants to become an owner.

A quick note on the company name: The legal entity is currently UndieCraft Inc. As a founder, I recognize this isn't our final name. One of our first and most exciting acts as a founding team will be to brainstorm and select a new, permanent name that reflects our grand ambitions and defines our legacy.

The Mission: Build a Masterpiece, Then an Empire

We are starting with a Minecraft Network designed to set a new standard for quality and innovation. You will be the lead architect and primary developer of this first project, with the creative freedom to build it right, from scratch, with zero technical debt.

This network is our strategic launchpad—a way to build a passionate community and generate the capital to fund a larger vision: a diversified, community-centric holding company.

The Offer: A True Partnership

This is not a job. It is a ground-floor opportunity to build a company as a true partner. The offer is designed to reflect that:

• Significant Equity Stake (10%): You will receive 10% equity in the parent company, with a standard 4-year vesting schedule. You are an owner of the entire enterprise.
• Success-Triggered Cash Incentive (10% of Net Sales): You will receive 10% of all Net Sales Revenue for 12 consecutive months. This 12-month clock only starts in the first calendar month the company achieves $2,000 in Net Profit, ensuring your reward is directly tied to the success you create.
• Total Technical Autonomy (Phase 1): As the lead architect, you will have complete freedom to choose the best modern tools and languages on the JVM (Java, Kotlin, etc.) to build a high-performance, scalable system. You are the expert on how we build.
• Operational & Creative Autonomy (Phase 2): As you grow into the leader of your studio, you will have the authority to run your division. This includes hiring your team, managing your budget, and directing your projects, all in alignment with the parent company's strategic goals. You are the expert on what your studio creates and who builds it.
• Build Your Own Company: As we succeed, you will have the right to establish your division as its own subsidiary (e.g., "NewName Studios, LLC"), with you as its President/CEO.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Lead Architect & Developer (Phase 1): Be the hands-on technical founder, architecting and building our core Minecraft server infrastructure from the ground up.
• Founder & CEO (Phase 2): As we grow, you will transition from builder to leader—hiring your team, managing your P&L, and running your studio as a business unit within the larger company.

Is this a salaried position? You mention performance incentives and those are usually tied to a base salary or payment plan as well, regardless of performance. Developers have no control over how well you market or manage the server so I highly doubt you'll receive any half-qualified applicants if this is performance incentives are the only compensation.
