The Pixel Gaming League (PGL) aims to create the largest charity event and fundraiser server that Minecraft has to offer. The majority of our proceeds will be going towards a charity called Extra Life, a charity that utilizes gaming as a tool to bring happiness and joy to patients of all ages who are in desperate need in Hospitals around the United States.
Volunteers (NON-PAID)
Please note, that these are volunteer positions (as of now) until we're able to reasonably compensate our efforts. If you're only interested in money, then this isn't the position for you. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and bringing joy to people all around the United States. However, to supplement this, we plan on providing small tokens of appreciation such as Discord Nitro or gift cards of your choice for your dedicated work.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for the following positions:
Event Management (1/2): Event Managers will handle the day-to-day operations of our events, assisting in facilitating clear and concise communication with sponsors, partners, and collaborators to ensure the successful execution of our events. We are looking for a Partnerships Manager.
Server Technician (1/1): We're looking for a back-end wizard to optimize our systems framework, plugins, assets, and more to ensure we have optimal performance for all of our events. This role will be critical for our success.
Support Team (0/4): Our Support Team will be tasked with handling general inquiries in our Discord server either in chats or tickets, as well as provide billing support for donations as needed.
Plugin Developer(s) (0/2): Looking for a Jr. and Sr. Plugin Developer with varied experience in developing large-scale, lightweight Minecraft plugin solutions. Our developers will primarily be working on creating and maintaining our core plugins.
Moderators (1/5): Moderators will be tasked with monitoring cheaters in-game, monitoring chat to keep our community safe, and ensure that all participants, guests, sponsors, and partners feel that they are in a safe environment.
Requirements:
Must be at least 16+ years old. (18+ is preferred)
Must have access to Discord, Google, and similar applications.
Must have access to a functioning computer, mouse, microphone, and headset.
Must have a resume/CV/portfolio to show previous work.
