Question for discord server owners about paid server advertising.

Trying to revive an old server of mine, and I've got a couple hundred bucks to put towards advertising to get things going. Just wondering- what's the best place to spend it? I'm looking at some sponsored giveaways, top.gg auction, etc.

No, I am not trying to hire an advertising/marketing manager. This is just a question.

Invite rewards is my best answer. You will have to be very strict and careful but it can bring in a lot of players and if you do a big reward for a big amount of invites then you will get a lot in a short time if done correctly

Already something I'm going to be employing the use of, I've had success with it in previous servers I've owned/managed. Just talking about paid advert here as that's not something I have much if any experience with when it comes to chatting servers.
