Rainbow usernames

Hello there!

So yeah, it's been suggested several times to add rainbow usernames. Since at the moment MC-Market can use all financial support it can get, I've decided to consider this.

I was thinking of adding it and giving users 2 options.

1. You can pay for the rainbow quarterly. Every time it expired, you'd have to buy it again.
2. You can pay a larger one time price.

So BOTH options would be put available. This feature is purely to support MC-Market and is nothing but cosmetic.

What approach or price would you guys like to see?

I obviously want this to be fairly unique but at the same time want to make it affordable.

Whether he's a troll or not, he shouldn't be making those comments, so I really didn't.

That's why it's going to be priced so high, and I don't see how it will make it unprofessional. It's just a name with colors, it will still look professional, and if you think it doesn't then don't buy it. It's quite easy actually. Also, may I mention that not everyone will have it due to it's high price. Nothing's been confirmed as of now, some things may change.

One thing leads to another. First it's rainbow names. Then what? Rainbow chat? Sure the price might be high but everyone wants it. It'll eventually be purchased and spread around like AIDS.

Oh I have faith in Bosny. He's a very good leader for the site. I don't think I can name anyone else who's more qualified than him.

I would restrict this to a few members for a very high price now that I think about it.

Only that would make it really unique.

People need to read the thread before jumping into conclusion. That is one of problems with the community. In the thread BeBosny say there is 2 ways of how this goes. Subscription Model or One Time Purchase. I think it should be one time purchase with certain set of date ended. If many people have this, it wont end well. An exclusive sale with the rainbow color for one month only would make Ajdin some money right away and the rainbow color wont appear again for a long time.

You could sell a limited number of coloured names per month.

E.g. 10 a month, at $50 each. That's $500 profit, and the perk is kept to a limited few.

I don't think that's simple at all. A new rank is the last thing that MC-Market needs right now it's more important to add features to the ones we do have.

I think it'd be cool to have a system that gives you a certain name colour once to hit a set numbers of "reactions" but also the way the rainbow flows is a lot better than the block rainbow.
