Rainbow usernames

Hello there!

So yeah, it's been suggested several times to add rainbow usernames. Since at the moment MC-Market can use all financial support it can get, I've decided to consider this.

I was thinking of adding it and giving users 2 options.

1. You can pay for the rainbow quarterly. Every time it expired, you'd have to buy it again.
2. You can pay a larger one time price.

So BOTH options would be put available. This feature is purely to support MC-Market and is nothing but cosmetic.

What approach or price would you guys like to see?

I obviously want this to be fairly unique but at the same time want to make it affordable.

I guess you could get a discount once you hit a certain amount of reactions.

Maybe if you reach like a certain amount of posts you would be able to buy the rainbow name. E.g 500Messages or 35Reactions

You should do this, with the colours you buy you can mix them so lets say i bought Orange & Dark blue, it would be like this Jake4 and if you buy more you can add more like Jake4.

How about you make it so you must purchase all name colors in order to get rainbow.

Sort of makes sense.

The problem with that is that the name wouldn't be as rare as it probably should be. Within a month dozens of people will have it.

Well if the main part is to give MCM financial support this makes it the perfect decision.

The alternative is to make it cost more and less people have it. The best way for it to support MCM would be for it to be a subscription based cosmetic feature. Perhaps $20/month is what I thought would be good.[DOUBLEPOST=1459692836][/DOUBLEPOST]

If that's the case you can't choose any hue of red or green since those are used for staff right now. Leaves very limited numbers not to mention that there's no easy way to do that with the system there is currently

You could get one of those package loot crate thingy's for around $20 isn't it? But with that you get a bunch of really cool things. Way more than a colored name on a website.

I still think that several people would purchase it and it would be a cool thing to have. It also means that a whole tonne of users who left MCM don't have a special name since they have to pay monthly.
