Hey all!

After over a year of work, we are selling RealmPvP. Unfortunately we do not have the time to maintain and innovate such a broad server, and we don’t think we can provide the experience that RealmPvP could be.

RealmPvP is a server combining hardcore factions and MMORPG style gameplay. It is entirely based on custom plugins, and its only dependencies are ProtocolLib, WorldEdit and Citizens. It runs on a custom build of Spigot, ‘RealmSpigot’, tweaked for performance. It has a fully functional soft-deathban and ‘life’ system, which is an EULA compliant donation framework. We are selling full ownership.

You can see a playthrough of our tutorial below. It showcases the RPG side of the server, and is only a taste of the large storytelling potential with our server:

NOTABLE FEATURES:
You can find a more complete list in our Design Brief (upon request), but features include:
  • Custom armor and weapons: Weapons now have special effects and abilities, and we have added a completely new AOE weapon, the polearm. We also have numerous staffs, which are a new ranged weapon.
  • RPG style loot: Dropped loot has a tier and rarity, and has randomly generated buffs (proportional to the rarity and tier).
  • Custom mob AI: Custom Mob AI to revolutionise PvE gameplay, also allowing enemies to utilise custom weapons, reduce server load, and prevent safespotting from taking place. You can see a basic example with an iron golem that will throw the block it is standing on at you here:
  • Automatic custom world generation automatically generates terrain with custom ore (due to nature of the tier system). Also affects regeneration. Can be configured to work with any block combination.
  • World regeneration system regenerates unclaimed chunks with different ore to eliminate the need for map expansion or even creation of new maps entirely. Can be configured in speed at which this regeneration happens.
  • Custom mob spawning: Fully custom and optimised spawning system to house our custom mob intelligence and tiering system. Mob difficulty and loot scales based on distance from the center of the world (uses worldborder) and dimension.
  • Intricate voting system: Vote goals for the entire server to work toward revolving around monster loot and shop price buffs. Personal "Vote Tokens" exchangeable for building items and other bonuses.

  • Loot Chests: Fully customizable loot chest system with in-game placement and configuration.
  • Online ban system: Search for ban times and reasons using our web interface

  • Monster Spawners: Invisible timed monster spawners for special locations allowing for different mob types to be spawned in groups of any size.
  • Realm Schematics: Allows for Loot Chests and Monster Spawners to be saved into schematic files for transfer between different maps and locations.
  • Guilds (factions): Guilds support invites, claims, sub-claims, guild chat, relationships, and DTR. The claim system uses clientside blocks and particles.
  • RBT, our NBT API: This makes development with NBT much easier, and provides wrappers for NMS functions.
  • Custom crafting recipes: There are 30 custom recipes (and /crafting) for different elements of our custom items.
  • Custom ore: Ores drop scraps for the matching tier, and these scraps can be used in our crafting system.
  • Trade system and economy: There is a safe trading system, and we obviously have a standard currency system. Mobs drop some of this currency, and we have a merchant at spawn.
  • KoTHs: We have a King of The Hill system. These go active on a scheduled basis, and the winning guild is awarded a loot chest key. You can easily create or edit KoTHs in-game using admin commands.
  • Party system: Allows for users who are not within the same guild to create a temporary team to fight monsters or other players.
  • Cross server messaging: This is achieved through bungee, and players on different servers can communicate with each other anywhere on the network.
  • Tab UI: Our tab menu contains an easily accessible HUD, which updates constantly and can be edited at ease:

  • Scoreboard UI: Quickly displays information such as cooldowns and pot limits:

  • Interactive chat: A number of our commands contain clickable confirmation prompts.
  • Donation perks: Pets, Trails, Lives, Soul Collection and various other donator quality-of-life improvements such as chat cooldown immunity.
  • Deathbans: Upon being killed on the game server, you are deathbanned for a time proportional to your playtime. You can use lives to bypass this, or a friend can revive you if they have a spare life. Deathbans are easily configurable or disabled entirely.
  • Combat Loggers: If you leave the server while in PvP, an NPC bearing your skin and armor is left in your place, which if killed enforces a deathban and drops gear.
  • Clientside Blocks: Used to mark out your guild's claim boundaries, and used as a PvP wall around protected regions:
  • Hub Setup: GUI navigators plus various fun items for donators such as grappling hook, riding enderpearls, and building blocks.


WHAT IS INCLUDED?
  • You will receive the source code for our plugins and custom build of Spigot. In total, this is around 53,000 lines of code. We will provide setup assistance for your build environment if so needed. The code uses Maven for dependency management. If you do not wish to continue development of the server, you will also receive precompiled jars for both ‘RealmSpigot’ and ‘RealmPvP’. The Spigot build will be up to date with the latest version upon transfer.
  • You will receive access to our hub server with our custom navigators and donator items.
  • You will receive access to test and build server setups.
  • You will receive all supporting files and configs. This includes all of our databases which contain player data, ranks, and donation information. You also receive our logo and wordmark.
  • You will receive ownership of the realmpvp.net domain, website, and whitelist system. The whitelist system allows you to generate one time use unique tokens for players to enter which automatically adds them to the in-game whitelist. This system uses cryptography to ensure that these tokens cannot be predicted or easily guessed. You can allow partners, such as content creators, to generate these tokens using a control panel. The control panel supports creating a separate account for each partner, and tokens are linked to their original creator. This was all developed in-house.
  • You will receive all of our existing builds, KoTHs and spawns (screenshots below). You will receive our existing schematics and maps from all of our servers, including the build server.
  • You will receive ownership of our discord server with 100 members.

Thank you for your interest, but we've had offers for more than that amount in the past that we have turned down. We would be unwilling to sell for that price.
Okay, Then, in that case, it sounds pretty reasonable if you've previously had higher offers but if your server is at your peak then that's a good time to sell it so is it currently at its popularity peak?

Our team have moved on to other projects outside of minecraft, it's sadly no longer a priority to continue managing the server. Thanks!

Builds look fucking sick. Overall aspect and potential this has is fucking sick. Too bad the the hcf community isn’t subject to adapt to change like this. Good look with selling my guy.

You’re expecting too much for a setup two years old and out of date, a half decent logo and a domain, this so over priced by at least 1200, I would consider lowering the price
