I don't know about others getting flagged for 'unusual network behavior' but I have to verify that I'm a human majority of the time accessing the site. Not sure if it's because I check stupidly frequently and have connected to the site using several ips since I'm in New York and there's wifi everywhere but I noticed this morning that HCapton is being used now and it gave me the world's hardest time picking pictures of a boat, birds, then umbrellas and wasted 10m of my life clicking pictures. Please revert back to the legacy check for being human or clear my account of being flagged for 'unusual network activity.' I, nor anyone else, should have a difficult time accessing the site.

HCaptcha isn't even that bad. People are overexaggerating when they say "oh it took me 15 minutes just to do one!" I've gotten a significantly less amount of captchas to do per day (only 3 total since it's been added) and they aren't even that hard. (I've gotten them on the first try every single time) Each captcha has taken me 15 seconds to a minute at most, and if that keeps out robots and DDoS attacks (which it seems like it's doing) then I don't see a need for it to be removed.

If you're taking more than 2 minutes on these captchas every time you try & access this site, maybe you're the type of thing the captcha is trying to keep out? I think people who are over 13 years of age should be able to comprehend and complete these with ease. Maybe reconsider what you're doing in this quarantine and focus more on learning and education if solving these are genuinely hard for you.

I'm assuming the people who took literally 15 seconds got blessed with the umbrella one. No, people are not exaggerating that much with their time taken. It did take me about 8m the first time, 4m the second, off-site hcaptcha I just gave up after 3 tries, haven't had one for 12h now.

Rule of thumb: If you think it is whatever it's asking for but you're unsure, it probably is.

I don't think it should be removed, it helps a lot with security. I don't think it bothers me 10-15 seconds allocated for better security

Guys from what I have heard cloudflare has entirely switched over to hcaptcha. That verify screen is not a MCM thing, its a cloudflare thing.

how am i supposed to know whats a bird when theres only 2 pixels of the animal in the box :(

Yes, I agree with you. It's hard to tell whats a bird for instance but as Jayson said they don't control the captcha used that's Cloudflare. So they cannot do anything about the captcha

That's sick...
Just switch to another security thingy not cloudfare
At this time, we view Cloudflare as having some of the most usable functionality and customization options at their price point, especially with Cloudflare Workers. If you know any other solutions that may interest us, we'd love to hear about it!

Please review Cloudflare's blog post Supporting the latest version of the Privacy Pass Protocol. At this time, we do not have control over which captcha platform is used, only when it's shown. Cloudflare and critics of reCaptcha cite its privacy issues such as capturing browser information alongside how captcha completion potentially contributes to AI training. Some people were able to bypass reCaptcha because ultimately...Google acquired enough information to remember them.

Please for the love of god, Increase your Challenge Passage time; https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/e...tanding-Cloudflare-Challenge-Passage-Captcha-

This is by no fault of MCM, Although by increasing this at least people won't be getting the Captcha'd as often.

Yeah, no, some of the images hCaptcha use are sickening. I've seen some weird and disgusting images.
Yes I fully agree. We either need to change captcha or somehow be able to manage the topics/pictures that pop up

Disagree. With google's captcha shit, I spend 10 minutes doing captchas. With this one, i only do captchas twice.

A few weeks ago I noticed reCaptchas on the Cloudflare page, not sure if MCM has increased the security level on Cloudflare or if it's just increased traffic due to everyone being home.
Now we've got hCaptcha. Works on my desktop (but still annoying) does not work at all on my phone. It loads, but is an endless loop of selecting boats/cars/horses.
Mick needs to rename the website to https://BoatHorseCar-Identifier.org/ just so people aren't confused about the purpose of this site.
