Removing Banned Peoples Rep

I recently got wiped of a few rep because of some of them people were banned, I still done legitimate deals with them tho?
So why the heck does that mean they should have to remove my rep for peoples wrong doings?

I say they don't delete peoples rep off of your profile even if they get banned.

That image is out of context and seemingly purposefully has the date cut off of it since it was a year and a half ago I said that about a completely separate aspect of the site.

There have been several suggestions created about this topic in the past, suggesting that we begin removing reputation left by banned members since they are no longer a part of our community. In the coming months, we plan to custom develop an automated way to soft-delete reputation left by banned members.

If you get a negative reputation against you and you wanted to dispute it, you wouldn't be able to because the user who left it is banned so it is not fair for you to keep it on your profile. It also doesn't make sense for us to skew your reputability by only removing the negative reputations, so we remove the positive ones too. If you are banned, you are no longer a member of our community and you should have no say on the standing of others unless that person is a risk to others in the community.
