Rules & Regulations | Toxicity | Time For A Change

I have been using MC-Market for quite a short time compared to a lot of the members that currently use this fantastic website, however, during my time on MC-Market I have encountered some undesirable individuals which should have their access from this website revoked. There are currently no rules or regulations regarding extreme levels of toxicity while using a form of communication on MC-Market and I firmly believe that this should be changed.

This sort of content should not be allowed on any platform, never mind a platform that is residence to many younger members of the Minecraft community. Not one person should be exposed to this, especially not fledgling children. By allowing this to continue, we are admitting that this type of behaviour is acceptable and are only contributing to the use of it.

Thank you for reading my suggestion, if you disagree with it please explain the reasoning behind the disagreement.

I'm not saying that I don't care about the rules, but it's not going to censor toxicity. It's obviously not acceptable to say "ur a faggot kill yourself" but it's not going to stop things like above. People are still going to do it and I'm pretty sure YouAreHated got warning points of sort for that. There's no point in adding to a system that already takes affect. It seems you're trying to be a good Sumaritan by trying to "clean up mcm's act" when even the staff on here can be toxic at times when they're not onsite or offsite and on minecraft.

If staff members are toxic while using MC-Market, they should be removed immediately in my opinion. That is not my choice, in general there shouldn't be staff members who are toxic on any platform allowed to work for this magnificent site. You are right that it may not work in censoring toxicity, but, I'm going to try my best so that it is.

The truth being that Rocketry doesn't seem to get, is that toxicity is already implemented into our brains. I watched porn for the first time when I was 5, and started cursing when I was 7. Does anyone actually get bothered by someone saying "ur my nigger ; )" Insults don't actually offend people, they provoke them. It's not a problem that needs to be a dealt with.

I assure you that toxicity is not naturally implemented into our brains, it is through our experiences that we gain that attitude. Experiences such as going on a website and being exposed to it etc.

"not offsite" is onsite. Therefore, you are the one who said that staff members are even toxic on MC-Market. I did not say that Doge is completely clean and I do not expect him to be, no one is perfect. I am suggesting censoring the toxic members of the community, not everyone.

No. My collection on Snapchat is people I have added from Reddit, GhostCodes, and a bunch of people from my own school and grades above and below me. Most of them don't even know me. If you're really that much of a pussy to where you get offended over someone insulting you on a minecraft forum, try other OG selling forums that are much larger, where people with a large collected reputation will negative rep you and call you a faggot for posting something even slightly stupid.
You obviously were sheltered by your parents from the outside world and dangers of your community. No one hears cursing in public and turns and says "excuse me what did u just say?"

Again, that statement is incorrect. If I hear swearing in public, I confront those who did it about it. Additionally, if you have nothing else to contribute to my thread please don't post your comments or disrespect me. Thanks.

I find it extremely ignorant and terrible sad that you care so much about the word that you need to make a whole suggestion about it. It's pathetic in a way that you hold the word nigger at such a high standard, and giving it the attention you are now is just boosting it's impact.

"I don't care if the people saying the word have an issue with it or not, others in the community and generally, in the world do too" Not really... It's just you. As you can tell from the suggestion, people don't really care for the word anymore, it doesn't have the same amount of impact as it did a few years ago.

For someone who so desperately cares about removing racial slurs, I have a better suggestion for you. Start a petition to rename "Sudan" to something else. Why Sudan? Because Sudan means "The land of the Blacks", that's kinda racist hu? Go start a petition to rename it...

Your points are invalid and exaggerated. I am not going to dignify what you just said with a proper response as I have been doing with others, I have stated what I needed to and I will not go back and fourth with users in this manner again, thanks for commenting.

The suggestion may get denied, but, you yourself are breaking the MC-Market rules and regulations and you will hopefully receive the appropriate punishment. If my suggestion does indeed get denied due to the reasons you stated above, that would be incredibly stupid and I doubt it would because of those specific reasons. If you're going to make a suggestion, at least back it up. Don't just say "uhhh... racism is bad. let's remove it!" with a suggestion.
