Small amount of Ram, to work my Vanilla Server

Hello,

So as you see from the title host owners, I am about to lose my mind cause my current host I have now. SimplexServers.com

I currently host my public server VitrolicFactions and my vanilla server

My public server Vitrolic Factions is fine where it stands the ram and CPU etc is perfectly fine.

But my vanilla server is extremely laggy under 2 ram. My jar is vanilla 1.9.2 and it's shared hosting. Cost me 10$ a month. What annoys me is that my vanilla server is lagging so hard for some weird reason when it's vanilla with no plugins xD I think it's the jar? But you host owners might know. No it's not my host. Cause my Public server is doing just fine :)

If your hosting service is powerful. With lots of ram and can support my vanilla server and CHEAP, PM me or comment. Thanks :)

Hey, how many players are you looking to host on the server? Maybe come check out https://vaporservers.com we use some of the best hardware and have a great support team. WE also host a few other smp servers like this on 1.9.2 with 0 issues.

I have about 20 friends who play. It's friends community server and I'll check it out. Is there a way I can have a demo? Like 24 hours to see for myself?

Sounds to me like the host is overselling. Probably cramming too many servers onto one machine--typical for most hosts here on MCM. If you'd like to use dedicated RAM, check us out -- http://www.mc-market.org/threads/72909/ We're also $2.5/GB

I'd also suggest using Spigot instead of Mojang's vanilla JAR. It's built to handle more players

Spigot has a lot of bugs and items that are just not Ment to play vanilla. I am trying 3 host so far checking there speed :) I would love to give yours a try if I may?

Bugs maybe but I'd imagine that'd just be related to plugins. The items and gameplay are identical to vanilla Minecraft as long as you don't have any plugins installed. If you just need to check speed you can ping or connect to mc.anvilnet.com

Spigot is also for plugins vanilla has 0 plugins. All it's doing is lagging my vanilla server cause about 20 of us are playing in the same chunk not generating land and until 1 person is on left. That's when it stops lagging. It's pretty weird. Does it have the vanilla 1.9.2 jar installed? And is it a good map?

Right. But if you use Spigot without any plugins it is identical to vanilla Minecraft but optimized to run better and support more players. You might just have a corrupt chunk. If so, the problem isn't related to the host--you could just have bad/corrupt files. Bad files will lag on any host

Well no because spigot has more behind it. They try to reduce lagg. So the spawn rates are not as much as the vanilla jar, like slime chunks, I found a slime chunk took 2 days to get 2 stacks of slime balls with the vanilla jar it's 1 stack of slime blocks in 1 day.[DOUBLEPOST=1460041354][/DOUBLEPOST]in my opinion I rather just have vanilla 1.9.2
