Hello, I am selling my server, GrizzlyPrison.
This is more than just an excellent investment oppertunity; GrizzlyPrison is home to a loyal and active community who were committed to the server during its life. Whilst the server is a great money maker with extremely good profit margins, it's a fun, lively server with a wholesome community that whomever is fortunate enough to own in the future will be lucky to have.
Me and my servers backstory.
I had a lot of experience managing minecraft servers, namely FantasyCloud (FantasyCloud Sale ($190k+ Revenue)) and MirageCloud (MirageCloud Sale), both of which for a combined total of over a year. After starting to properly study Computer Science to more depth, I decided to start my own solo venture given my experience in managing servers and my programming experience.
I started from scratch in July 2023, custom wrote my own plugins, setup the machine, pterodactyl panel, and everything else required. After finishing development, I began my publicity campaign and saw fast growth in my discord very quickly. Upon the beta release of the server, we had over 140 players which exceeded my expectations given a smaller publicity campaign, and we proceeded to have a very successful beta and likewise a strong season 1, until I decided to end the project recently.
GrizzlyPrison is home to a kind, committed community who have been an extremely important part in allowing the server to be as successful as it was. The community have been extremely helpful in bug finding in the early days, as well as providing me with motivation to continue the project given the large demand for updates and new content. The project was a great hobby for whilst I had a lot of free time, however now due to real life commitments I don't have the time to keep the server going, however think it would be a massive waste to throw it away given the extreme potential it has. Anyone who is lucky enough to take over will see the greatness of what we've built for themselves.
Server Description
GrizzlyPrison is both a Java and Bedrock server, from versions 1.8 to latest using a velocity proxy with GeyserMC and ViaVersion fully setup. Maximising player compatability has been a crucial part to ensuring all those who want to play can, and is a feature i'd advice leaving as is (but download the updates!).
The aim of the game is to rank-up, we use a public prison ranks plugin as a custom one was not required. Money to rank-up can be earnt from mining in any of the mines (A-Z) and donator rank mines. However, mining to rank-up is just a small fraction of the fun. We have unique, fun builds for our spawn and prison mines which players enjoyed roaming around.
Players can mine to level up their pickaxe. A higher level pickaxe allows players to purchase and upgrade better enchants. A player can start of with the fundamental enchants of efficiency and fortune, then proceed to level up their pickaxe to unlock our custom enchants (such as Drill, Laser, Black-Hole, Bounty, Thor, Treasure, Token-Boost). These pickaxes can be purchased with tokens, a custom currency seperate to the money used to rank-up.
Players can also strive to earn custom pickaxes. These cannot be unlocked directly via tokens, and are found through in-game loot-pools like crates, lucky blocks, events etc.
All pickaxes, enchants, pets and backpack functionality was custom made for the server and we hold the only copies of the software.
There are over 8 custom pickaxes and 11 custom enchants available currently. We have lots of built-in unique features like lucky blocks, player rankings, trading, boosters also incorporated.
Our pickaxes and enchants are all unique, with the software built by me from the ground up. They are performance efficient, using processes like multi-threading to ensure players don't suffer from lag spikes upon enchants breaking lots of blocks. They are fully world-guard integrated, meaning players can't break blocks they shouldn't via custom pickaxes or enchants, and have full integrated with our backpacks plugin, with blocks going straight into it rather than into their inventory.

I have extreme confidence this industry and specific field of server is very profitable and likewise an all round enjoyable area to operate in.
What am I selling?
1. Source code and JARs to the following custom plugins:
- GrizzlyPickaxes (Fully custom pickaxe plugin with 11 pickaxes, GUI, world-guard integration, pickaxe levelling, lucky blocks, integration with my other plugins and more)
- GrizzlyEnchants (Fully custom pickaxe enchantment plugin, 13 enchants, tokens from mining to upgrade enchants, interesting animations etc)
- GrizzlyBackpacks (Fully integrated backpack plugin with our custom pickaxes and enchants)
- GrizzlyLootboxes (Fully custom lootboxes plugin with GUI animations and config-based lootbox customisation and creation)
- GrizzlyPets (Fully custom 8+ pets plugin, again integrating fully with pickaxes, enchants and backpacks)
- GrizzlyVouchers (Right-clickable items that execute a command, used for rank notes, money notes etc)
- GrizzlyPvE (The function behind our player vs entity arena in which players can fight custom mobs to earn tokens)
- GrizzlyCore (Essential features for other plugins to work, in-game togglable modules, admin based features and much more)
2. Velocity Proxy Setup + Hub
The velocity proxy is included with the current Geyser and ViaVersion setup and integration with the main game. This allows for all minecraft versions to join for both bedrock and java. Also comes with votifier setup so that players can /vote in-game.
3. All game files
The latest server files will be provided. This includes all the custom plugins aswell as all the others with configurations already setup. You get the files exactly as they were at the point I discontinued the server this week.
Please note that some plugins were bought from websites like spigotmc or bukkit. For example, featherboard and playervaults. It is your responsibility to ensure the licensing is correct, however I am of course happy to help go through and properly find out which ones may need new licensing. This won't be expensive at all.
4. Discord Server
We used discord for all communication with our community. This includes announcements, updates, bug fixes, community suggestions and bug reports, general chats and much more. Staff channels are all setup too. Please take a look at https://discord.grizzlyprison.com.
5. The Domain
GrizzlyPrison.com and all associated sub-domains, such as discord.grizzlyprison.com, buy.grizzlyprison.com etc. I will send the domain over to you, it is likely you'll need to setup the DNS records depending on how you setup the server. I am happy to assist with this.

7. Developer Support for setup and bug fixes for current game state
I understand it is a daunting concept for some who want to start a server but with little confidence; this was me once and the best decision I ever made was to just go for it.
I will provide assistance in helping you setup. I may not be familiar with methods you are used to using, however my approach was to rent a machine from OvH or reliablesite and then load a pterodactyl panel onto it. This can be confusing for some, and I will assist in helping you setup.
I will also be happy to fix bugs for you if they are in the game at the point you receive the files; any modifications you make to the code or new additions are not my responsibility and I cannot provide assistance. I want to make the transition to new ownership as smooth as possible, both out of respect for the new owner and the current community. This support from me will continue for at least a month form the point of purchase.
I may be happy to continue to be a paid developer for the new owner, however obviously cannot run the server myself due to my time constraints. More on this can be discussed if anyone is interested.
Machine and Performance information
I am unable to transfer the current machine to a new owner; this means you will need to rent your own. The process is fairly simple and quite important for anyone wanting to start a professional server to understand. As stated above, I am more than happy to assist in this process to ensure a smooth transition. Our server cost was around $55 per month, very low compared to the revenue we were making. More information on this will be provided to any potential buyers.

Why am I selling?
Simply put, I don't have the time. Whilst i've had an amazing staff team working with me, I had to do all development, community management and staff management on my own. This was extremely demanding in the early days whilst still developing and actively bug fixing, and whilst it is now obviously less of a workload given the server is in a good state, I don't have the time to personally provide for the community as much as I'd like. Who am I looking for?
This project was just a hobby at the start and turned into something far greater than I ever could've hoped. It deserves someone who cares and provides for a community which will return gratitude for commitment given to them. If you don't want to buy the server as a whole, for example if you want to just buy the custom plugins, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Once anything is sold, it won't be sold again and is now your property. It would take a lot for me to sell this off piece by piece though as I think it's worth far more as a complete server.

I'd like to just hear offers and will decide based on what I recieve. If you want to make an offer i'd advise doing it privately by getting in touch on one of the contact methods above. I'd prefer payment via crypto or paypal, however am flexible if a potential buyer would prefer to pay in a different manner. Please advise i'm very aware of scam attempts on threads like these so please excuse me if I try to get to know you as a potential buyer a bit more! It's just to ease my own mind
