FIGHT OR FLIGHT is now looking for volunteer staff members including map builders, moderators and more!
Fight Or Flight is a version of Survival Games with teams of three, a coin system, proximity chat, a custom 1.17 map and a ~$125 prize pool for contestants! The event will be streamed live on Twitch on multiple channels!
THE EVENT ITSELF WILL PROBABLY NOT BE UNTIL LATE SEPTEMBER. Building, marketing work etc. has already begun and you're welcome to join in with that as soon as your application is accepted, but please take the time delay into account if you're applying in advance for a mostly on-the-day role only.
Roles needed before the day:
map building
marketing / event promotion
playtesting
Roles needed on the day:
in-game moderating
tech support / behind-the-scenes
Twitch moderating
As roles are voluntary there are no set time requirements and you can apply for multiple roles, including contestant (though contestant applications will open on a later date)
However despite roles being unpaid, I am happy to help out with your own content or projects in return where possible (and of course credit / promotion during the event!)
Requirements:
aged 16+
have Minecraft Java edition
be willing to use Discord for voice calls and to stay up to date with announcements
IF APPLYING FOR IN-GAME MODERATOR / TECH SUPPORT / BEHIND-THE-SCENES: be on Windows and willing to talk via in-game proximity chat (it doesn't work on Mac)
The event date is currently unconfirmed but the time is likely to be ~8-10pm BST / 3-5pm EDT.
