What's your point? That we should go easy on leakers because they paid for it? They paid ONCE and got other 100+ people to download the resource for free, as a personal example.

They are not paying for distribution, they are paying for a "license" to use your work on their server.

Honestly I think it’s so dumb that people even leak stuff like resources. Most of these are like what, $5-$10 range? And if I’m getting this right, many times leaked copies aren’t fully functional because of protections the author put in place. If you can’t afford to spend what should cost you the least amount, how can whatever server these are being used on be expected to work out?
Also, this is a nice gesture and it’s nice to see that resource authors are being looked after, however I really doubt many real members of this forum do this stuff. I bet it’s the same already-banned people who post to those leak sites and they make alts on here constantly to buy resources to leak. I’ve seen many of them banned before.
Oh and hopefully users of these leak sites are also verified to be the same people, otherwise it’d be so easy to register as someone else and get them banned.

Wow, that’s exactly what I was thinking of - users being impersonated on those sites.
Of course I’m aware that they’re just trolling, but they easily could do this same renaming stuff to known users of this forum.
I'd just like to add to Doge 's post. You can revoke licenses as long as the buyer downloaded the resource once, I believe that it currently is a good (but nowhere near perfect) way to slow down plugin update leaks, as you can just match the buyer's PayPal email to leaking platforms and revoke their license if they're registered. It's confirmed by Jayson and Justis that this practice is allowed by developers. As I said, it's nowhere near perfect and can be easily bypassed but you'd find out that a good portion of your buyers are most likely also partaking in leaking websites, making it perfectly acceptable to revoke their license (also confirmed working and allowed due to winning a scam report against me for that specific reason).
My intention was any of admins to look into this resources fiddler. As he been reported, I try to mention him everywhere. But just nothing happens. And doesn't matter that guy is reselling other people works.
