Avi knows the rules, and he even stated before the report was made that "it would suck if he got banned from this" in the chat.
He stole 100 bucks from a guy, and anybody with abit of a brain knows that it is a scam, not "a eye for a eye".

So, he used sensitive information provided by a user in good faith, to give himself a made-up amount of money as "damages", and then holds the money hostage in exchange from being unbanned here?

This is something that bothers me too. I'll use myself as a example.

I have my own company and work as a full time system administrator. I work on long contracts and get ditched when I'm no longer in need. Most of the time I still have access to the servers. Does that mean I have to login and do whatever I desire with the servers? No. It's something you simply don't do. Just because you have the ability to do something doesn't mean you have to do it.

No, he wants to resolve the Scam. I believe he will end up refunding the money anyways, but it's totally unfair to not give him a fair Scam Report.

The thing is, the scam report should have never been created in the first place. Scam reports are there in case a deal goes wrong. Going into someones PayPal account and stealing money is not a deal nor is it a valid reason to open a scam report. We have always been very strict against members compromising eachother's accounts and whatnot.

If he is to remain banned, I think my only choice to seek justice is to get everyone to rally and boycott.

I honestly wish you good luck with that. Would you really risk yourself getting suspended and banned for someone going into PayPal accounts?

That's untrue. I was inactive yesterday. It was brought up to me before the scam report was made but I didn't have time to get to it. I didn't even know about the scam report against you until you told me and I checked the shoutbox archive.

The point is M6Gaming never gave us a chance to solve this and just swung the ban hammer. Now everything is fixed. Erik has his PayPal & money. I don't understand why I am still banned.

The scam report should have never been there. You went into someone's account and stole money. I don't understand what makes you think that's something you should resolve in a scam report. You have been banned by me and I didn't even know there was a scam report made.

This isn't a scam. This is pure fraud. You go into someone's financial account and steal money. People go to jail for this.



Most of you guys bring up the argument as to how we didn't allow avsterbone to give his go at the scam report. But as mentioned before, I didn't even know it was there. I just got "avsterbone went into erik's paypal and sent himself money" in my slack. After looking into it further, we decided to discuss it with some staff members and came up with a decision.

I banned him without knowing that there's a scam report. Simply because there's no need for a scam report in such cases. If a scam report was never made, he'd still be banned considering he admitted to doing something like that.

Sure, pieguy scammed but that doesn't give him "the license" to go into his PayPal account and literally fuck him over. Doesn't matter how he obtained the login info.

To me, avsterbone is a criminal. People go to jail for what he did. Imo he breached our TOS big time and doesn't deserve to be unbanned. We don't need members who think it's not a big deal to steal money.

If this wasn't avsterbone, nobody would care. And don't deny this. We will still discuss this with some more staff members eventually and come up with a final decision.
