Building a large wall will be the most ineffective means of preventing immigration. Most illegals come by over staying their visa, not from crossing the border. Trump would invest too much money in an ineffective wall, which I don't agree with. Also, deporting 11 million people is a costly amount. Trump claims the illegals have taken jobs from the legals and have lowered their finances but statistics have shown that it's actually the opposite and illegals are actually not costing finances at all. So while Trump claims this, the legals are really not really damaged at all.

His supporters are oblivious. Trump makes large statements like, "Let's make America great again!" and the supporters are like "YEAH LETS DO IT! I"M ALL IN." But when he's asked specific questions on his plans and policies, he either gives an answer that is completely off-topic or summarizes his answer in one word like "management" (during interview) or "judgement" (GOP debate). He is basically trying to stir up nationalism to gain support but doesn't address the main issues of the country in detail. His supporters are basically people who are already well off on their own to even care about what happens to the country.

Agreed. I also do not have the likes for Clinton either. She says she supports gender equality but pays women less in her own campaign. She currently has some email thing going on which is suspicious. She doesn't really talk at all. She supports the expansion of military which is also something I disagree with. Unfortunately, the Democratic Party is still attempting to make her the primary by skipping possible debates. Although I extremely want Sanders to win, it doesn't look like that will happen unless Sanders makes a big difference in the debates and reaches out to college students for their votes. He recently passed Clinton in New Hampshire which is good, but from what it looks like, Clinton might still be the primary.

I too wanted Clinton to become president at first because I was quite fancied by the fact that we could have the first female president...until I saw her policies. Unlike her, Bernie Sanders really does attack both economic, civil, and equality issues. He's an all-in-one package who is quite the moral being.[DOUBLEPOST=1443284702,1443284450][/DOUBLEPOST]
If the economy is doing bad, yet we have a increase of $1 per year, then small businesses will still face trouble. The wage needs to be in proportion to the economy when it's either stimulated or depressed. If the economy does outstandingly well, the wage can increase a little bit but not enough to the point where if the economy were to drop again, the wage would prove to be hurtful. So the wage will need to stay in a safe zone. Not too high, not too low.
You've persuaded me in terms of the wall, but how else are we going to prevent illegals? If the democrats keep going like this, we'll end up providing free health care, etc, to people who aren't contributing in the slightest.

lol, ok, let's say it's a mix back in terms of his supporters. The average american doesn't bother to research any of this stuff, typically. So Trump's strategy is to stay obviously ridiculous stuff like "Obama's a muslim", and provide some BS proof for it, and everyone immediately just agrees with it, because it must be true if a political candidate says it!

Why do we even have a minimum wage? It's stupid. Companies pay what they need to pay in order to attract employees that meet their criteria. If a company can afford to pay its employees more, then they most likely will, as it's such a greater incentive to work harder. For example -- I'm going to use my dads company... Sorry! xD

He operates a large subprime (bad credit) car loans business. (Loaning money for people to buy cars, not that this is important, but yeah.) There are a few hundred, mostly unskilled, people working in a Detroit collection center, basically just calling people to ask for the monthly payment or whatever.
They get paid something like $10 an hour, which, obviously, is nothing. They are all required to make 7 calls an hour, which isn't too difficult. BUT for every call they make after that, the company pays out an extra $3, meaning that per hour, most people working there make $25 at least. The lazy people that want a job where they don't do anything get fired immediately, while the people who are willing to work hard, make alot of money for their skill set, and the company profits even more based on their extra effort in the call center. In fact, the workplace is in the top 100 places to work in the country. But what if the government comes in and says we have to pay them $16 an hour? Well... so be it, we'll do it. Here's the compromise! We're not gonna keep the bonus system now, can't afford it. So now the company doesn't make enough money, (less money for the gov. through taxes), the people working there don't make as much money, and would much rather have had their $10 wage with bonuses back.

Anyways, there's that.

In my opinion, I like Trump in the way that he is not afraid to speak his mind. However, his immigration policy as well as his controversial past are enough to persuade me not to vote for him. Thats just my stand, I'm only fifteen so my opinion does not matter much.

As a citizen of california, I just want somebody thats going to fix our drought issue. Residential houses are being forced to cut 50% water usage while farms exporting their goods to foreign countries are not limited at all. America is screwed up imo, I'm moving to Canada when I grow up xD

When you grow up there will be tons of Americans trying to get into Canada illegally. Then they will have Justin Bieber, singer turned politician running for president, vowing to create a wall to keep the american illegal immigrants out.
