Hello!

So im currently working on a KitPvP server with the intentions of it being very user friendly. What I mean by that is not being p2w, different methods of healing (Soup or Pots) and it being less competitive and more like a chill pvp server.

What im looking for with this post is just ideas! Please let me know if you have any ideas I could implement onto my server, this could be kit ideas, events, or features in general.

Currently we have plans for Clans, Events (Sumo and KOTH), and settings.

We currently have some kits with abilities (Double jump, strength, teleport, etc)

Any ideas help!

Thanks.

One thing I would certainly recommend is, if possible, having a QA Team and a Community/Feedback Team. These teams can be made up of just your staff at the start. However, you should gradually look to invite (or set up applications) your most notable players to the Community/Feedback Team and even the QA Team if you're willing to handle NDAs (you can go without them for a QA Team, but I'd rather have the safety of them if you're working with regular players). These teams (or similar functions) are imperative for any new server as they both come with huge benefits.

With KitPvP itself, you could create an Events Team that would operate on a weekly, biweekly or even monthly basis. You should also ensure that you have a quality anticheat, but I'm sure you're aware of that already. From previous experience, some of those abilities may be frustrating for players to deal with, but it's certainly better trying it with a new server than introducing those to an already established one.

Back in my KitPvP days I would like different options rather than just one ffa area to pvp. Events were always a fun thing while still incorporating the pvp aspect, some of my personal favorites were red rover and sumo. Arena pvp is also fun but it has to be done in a way that it won't take over kitpvp so something such as just quick duels would be cool. Some kit ideas I personally like using is fly (but disables when you hit someone or they hit you), lightning rod kits (striking people with lightning), archer kits, and soup, just to add a big variety of pvp and kind of breaks it up into different categories of skills.

Thank you both for this wonderful feedback!
