Do intense Brazilian jiu-jitsu, minus the fact I do 3 hours classes every day except Friday, I do lose around 2145 calories in 1 three hour session, AND, I am learning to defend myself.

Granted I am 14 years old and it may be easier for me over someone older, but it is a GREAT way to lose weight. I personally can eat tons, but the classes keep my metabolism so high, it doesn't even matter, because it all gets worked off in the classes.

Try it out. Hope this helps :D

Hey man! I have actually done BJJ for around 3-4 years not 3 hour classes but at least like 3-4 hours a week. But yeah I probably should sign up to more classes ;)

Blue belt, congrats! I got some friends that are blue belts, you'd probably whip my butt, haha, I am a yellow belt, but I am a blackbelt in Tae Kwon Do. I did that for 4 years, but switched because it wasn't what I wanted to learn.

Ontop on BJJ, I also do Krav Maga, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Maui Thai, Wrestling, and Wing Chun, and of course, my Tae Kwon Do on top.

Starving yourself or depriving yourself of food won't do you any good. Take it from me: I lost 50 pounds in 4 months through my dedication and motivation to become healthier and more attractive. My resting heart rate also went from 86 to 62.

This was my every day schedule (Sundays were a break day):
  • At first, I was 200 pounds so I started on the elliptical. I tried burning 200-300 calories each day.
  • When I started getting more fit and more secure about my body, I started running on the treadmill. I would run at least 4 miles every day.
  • I then adjusted myself to a new routine: 2 mile run, 1000 meter row on the rowing machine, 50 floors on stepping machine, 2 mile bike, and certain muscle group days (chest, shoulder, leg day)

Now, I just build muscle at the gym. Keep in mind that diet counts. I went carb-free during this time (very little sugar, so no bread, pasta, or sweet stuff). There are plenty of diets to try out, though. You could, however, just make adjustments to your diet and start eating a lot more greens. I have a salad every day for lunch. I just feel better after eating it. Good luck bro.

P.S. Trainers are useless and a waste of money, just do your own research! Weigh yourself every morning and mark it.

Don’t diet. Start doing cardio and gym. Eat less more often, also don’t eat huge dinners after nighttime workouts.

Sleep normally, running is a great way to start the day.

Also you need to stick to something. It might suck but better do 5 sit-ups for 3 months then doing 100 daily and getting burnt out after seeing zero results after a week.

E: Just saw you're 16 - DO NOT DO THIS if you're under 21, things like this can be terrible for your health when you're still growing. Always do your research!

Second the carb-free thing. I did keto awhile ago and lost a fair amount of weight, maybe 10kgs, without changing anything else about my lifestyle. It can make you feel kind of terrible in the first week or so (keto flu) but once you're past that it's so, so easy. Some benefits:
  • No need to count calories (which I tried, it's a pain) just avoid the stuff that's clearly carbs - bread, pasta, sugar etc - and keep an eye out for the things like beans, fruit and starchy veg that might trip you up.
  • Far easier than exercise, 20 minutes on the treadmill for me burns about 150 calories, equivalent to a yoghurt. I'd rather just not eat the yoghurt.
  • You feel full - you'll be eating mostly meat and veg, both of which fill you up a lot. I would load up on courgettes or brocolli or something, cover it with butter and salt, easy peasy and delicious.
  • Super cheap - vegetables cost next to nothing, it's great.
Only thing is that I like to snack, and it's difficult to find keto snacks. I realised that I don't want to feel full, I'm just looking for flavour, so I'd have a spoonful of peanut butter, or some cream cheese, or a square of dark chocolate. Definitely the hardest part but still 100% manageable.

Extremely oversimplified explanation of keto: the body uses carbs for energy and stores excess as fat, so if you take away the carbs your body will start to rely on your fat reserves instead.

Try it out! keto.reddit.com has more info if you're interested.

I would never recommend fasting if you don't have a professional trainer overseeing your progress.

I would get a gym membership and do basic cardio at the gym a day, for example, start at 2 miles and then do reps.

if you have extra cash laying around hire a PT def worth it.

All I'm saying is Faze Rain lost lots of weight smoking weed and lots of cardio
Can confirm it helps a bit, but I'm 16 I don't smoke weed *cough*

Fasting is not healthy for weight loss. While fasting your body looks for energy and usually takes muscle instead of fat. You need to eat if you want to lose weight the right way instead of starving yourself.

DO NOT FAST
Fasting worked for me, and I did regular doctor checkups, aint sure what you mean

It's not healthy, starving yourself makes you lose muscle mass as well which isn't good physique wise. Even check the internet if you still don't believe me. Many well known athletes or people that have gone on a weight loss journey state to not fast.

unknown.

Do not listen to any of the people above telling you to start fasting or using keto diet as fact you are 16 and still growing. Doing any of that shit is horrible for growing and can fuck up your hormones. The best way is to incorporate lots of high intensity cardio excerise and switch out all unhealthy foods with healthier alternatives, while still eating enough and you should eventually morph into an athletic body. Not one that is small and stunted because you wanted to lose weight super fast when you were young, trust me I know many who have made the mistake.
