Okay, so my computer has a Quad-Core Processor, 3 monitors, 32 GB Ram and I keep getting low on memory issues. I was told yesterday that it is bc of my PSU only being 500W.
Going to order 850W today, but I need ideas/suggestions on what to get? Thanks.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

I wouldn't reccomend it... 500W is low for my pc, it has 8gb ram, quad core and 2 monitors (GTX 750ti Overclocked slightly). It wont blow up, however has a chance of damaging components, just be on the safe side.

Don't want this shit blowing up though.

Just try keep your memory usage to a minimum. Kill off processes when you're not using them. Like don't render 3d movies and shit. Your PC is overkill anyway, not sure why you'd need 32GB ram.

Lmao. It won't blow up, it will just be fairly loud and slow because of the low power issues. If anything it will do the complete opposite of explode since it does not have enough electrical energy to do such thing.
It will just crash, which has been happening lately, right?

I'll be on Sony Vegas and sometimes my computer will just crash. I basically assumed it was cause my computer setup sucked, but someone reassured me and told me it was bc the PSU was too low to supply my computer's specs.

I made it overkill, so I could work on movies, multiple programs at once, and program all at the same time haha. If I get the 850W PSU, I should be able to do this no problem right?

Be sure to unplug the computer before changing out the power supply...

I've made that mistake one too many times
Isn't that a given? :p

Would 850W PSU be enough for mine?

Edited the above post. BeQuiet 550W, and my computer is incredibly quiet and fast.
Do you think 850W PSU would handle my computer completely well like 550W does with yours?

Yes. All power supply's are the same dimensions. Personally I would recommend going with BeQuiet. My computer should need a 650w, but with the technology bequiet uses (and the optimization for my fans as well) I only need 550. http://www.bequiet.com/en/powersupply/524 would be my recommendation, but as long as what you choose is at least 800, and fits your budget - you will be good to go!
I'll see what other people say.

Now changing this thread to: "What PSU should I get for my specs?"

What graphics card(s) are you using? If more than one, how many?

500W PSU should be enough to run a GTX 970 and "quad-core processor" - Although it would really help if you named the specific model.
So can you elaborate on what "low on memory issues" you've been experiencing?

I mean basically it just basically pops up and says "You're low on memory" and to close programs, so they don't slow down. Also which model am I elaborating on?[DOUBLEPOST=1453046202,1453046121][/DOUBLEPOST]Full Specs:

I've seen these being used more by LinusTechTips: Link
It's only $20 more than the one you're looking at, plus it offers even more room for expansion if you'd wanted to add another graphics card, or something along those lines.
