I would to introduce a service that is looking to be new on here. I've seen many starting businesses in the past few months, yet I only see only few of them succeed. How amazing would it be for your starting business to show up at the TOP of Google, without requiring any huge amounts of traffic or advertisements. The deal is easy, and it goes by the name of Google. We all know Google, it's our most used platform on the entire world wide web. It's been around since the late 90's and is undoubtedly the most popular website in the world. The reason many of these newer hosting "businesses" aren't succeeding, is the fact that you as the provider have to search for clients to come in. You respond to every post in the hosting section, hoping to get someone to buy from you in this over-saturated market. You try to lower your prices exponentially to compete with some of these businesses, yet this is not required, and I'll tell you why.
Most people that are starting a Minecraft server don't know about MC-Market, trust me. It may be hard to believe, but even the most known Minecraft marketplace is very unknown to the average "server owner." Now obviously the next question is, then where do they get hosting? The easiest answer we can all agree on has to be Google. With over 4 billion searches every day, it has to be the best way to gain potential customers, yet people still try to grind for that 1% of the server owners looking for hosting on MC-Market. Most of the starting businesses barely make any money and go home loosing money. The solution to this is them having to oversell machines to keep gaining profit, providing unreliable services and masking them with a fancy looking website and thread template and simply lying to customers for that extra few dollars. It's pretty sad, but it's unfortunately the way it is in 2018. The market is very saturated and it's impossible to build a business on here.
But how do we get on Google, and how do we invite a lot of potential customers? The easiest answer would be quitting, but that's not why any of you even made it this far into the thread. The hard option would be called working hard and starting to do SEO. Now, learning SEO is very difficult and I'll explain what it is in a moment here, but first you have to understand that anything, and yes I mean anything in life comes at a cost. Sure you could try to rank your own website on Google but there would be no time left for you to properly maintain your clients, and by the time you would be seeing any results, I'm quite sure your business would have died, since no effort was put into the business itself.

It's easy, SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization, what this means in English for anyone that has no idea, is tricking the Google index to display your page above more popular pages.
