Bazaar
Bazaar is a DonutSMP-style player economy for your server. Players trade with each other through a price-matching order book, a full auction house, and a black market that rotates rare items on a timer. Everything runs through clean menus, so nobody has to type long commands to buy or sell. Lightweight, fully configurable, and Vault ready.
Built for: Survival, SMP, Skyblock, Factions, Towny.
Three ways to trade
The market is for everyday goods and bulk trade. The auction house is for single valuable items that people bid on. The black market is a server-run shop that offers a few discounted rare items and then rotates them out. Each one can be turned off in the config.

Three ways to trade
The market is for everyday goods and bulk trade. The auction house is for single valuable items that people bid on. The black market is a server-run shop that offers a few discounted rare items and then rotates them out. Each one can be turned off in the config.
The market
- Order book. Sellers post sell orders and buyers post buy orders. When a buy price meets a sell price, Bazaar matches them and completes the trade.
- Instant buy and sell. Players can also trade right away against the best resting order instead of waiting for a match.
- Sell tax. A percent of each sale is taken as a money sink to slow inflation. It is 2 percent by default and buyers never pay it. Set it to 0 to turn it off.
- Order limits and price bounds. Each player can hold up to 20 orders by default, and a minimum and maximum unit price keep listings in range.
Auction house
- Timed listings. List an item with a start price, an optional buy-now price, and a length. The default is 60 minutes and the cap is 24 hours.
- Bidding. Each bid must beat the current bid by at least 5 percent.
- Anti-snipe. A bid in the last 15 seconds extends the auction by 15 seconds, so nobody wins on the final tick.
- Fees. A 1 percent listing fee is taken up front and is not refunded. A 5 percent sale tax comes out of the final price. Both are configurable.
- Limits. Each player can run up to 5 auctions at once by default.
Black market
- Rotating stock. Six offers appear every 30 minutes by default, drawn from a configurable pool of rare items.
- Random discounts. Each offer is marked down by a random amount between 20 and 65 percent.
- Limited stock. Each offer has a small random stock, so the good deals do not last long.
- Chat announcement. A new rotation can be announced to everyone, and you can turn that off.
Economy
- Works with Vault. Install Vault with an economy plugin and Bazaar shares one balance with the rest of your server.
- Built-in fallback. With no Vault, Bazaar runs its own economy so it still works on its own. New players start with a balance you set.
- Pay and balance. Players check balances and pay each other. Admins can set, give, or take money on the built-in economy.
Quality of life
- Mailbox. If a player's inventory is full, bought items, won auctions, and refunds wait in a mailbox to collect later. Nothing is lost.
- Menus for everything. The market, your orders, the auction house, the black market, and the mailbox each have a GUI, with a confirm step before a purchase.
- Autosave. Orders, auctions, mail, and balances save every 5 minutes and flush when the server stops.
- Config migration. Updates add new config keys to your file without resetting your settings.
- Editable messages. All player text lives in messages.yml and uses MiniMessage for colors.
Commands
- /bazaar (aliases /market, /bz) opens the market. Sub-commands: orders, mailbox, sell <price>, buy <item> <amount> <maxprice>, balance [player], pay <player> <amount>.
- /auction (alias /ah) opens the auction house. Sub-commands: sell <start> [buynow] [minutes], bid <number> <amount>, buynow <number>, cancel <number>, list.
- /blackmarket (alias /bm) opens the black market. Sub-commands: list, buy <number> [amount].
Permissions
- bazaar.use gives access to the market, auctions, black market, mailbox, balance, and pay. Default: on for everyone.
- bazaar.admin allows reload, economy management, and force-cancelling listings. Default: ops only.
Requirements
- Minecraft 1.21 to 26.1.2.
- Paper, Spigot, or Bukkit.
- Java 21.
- Vault is optional. Add it with an economy plugin to share one balance across your server.
Installation
- Put Bazaar-1.0.0.jar in your plugins folder.
- Start the server once to create config.yml and messages.yml.
- Edit the config if you want, then run /bazaar reload.
