A problem with obfuscation that prevented the plugin from initializing in certain circumstances has been resolved.
After a lot of work and research, here's the updated and compatible version for Hytale Update 5!
There aren't any major changes in this version beyond removing a couple of fixes that are no longer needed, adjusting others that had become partially incompatible, and not much else.
Thanks, and see you in Orbis as always!
- Better protection against rare server-side crashes during world/map and entity updates.
- Improved handling of portal/teleporter edge cases.
- Fixed an issue where players could be wrongly removed after portal-related interactions.
- Reduced repetitive warning spam in server logs.
- Added extra safety around spawn position selection logic to avoid out-of-range errors.
- Expanded world recovery behavior with more flexible options.
- Added a new tick-thread watchdog for detecting severe stalls/deadlocks earlier.
Performance and reliability focus
- More defensive checks were added in critical systems that previously failed hard.
- Several failure paths now degrade safely instead of disconnecting players.
- Logging is cleaner and less noisy in known high-frequency warning scenarios.
Configuration and admin quality-of-life
- Advanced tab -> Compatibility section -> EntityTracker Warn Throttle
- New toggles were added for advanced protections (including EntityTracker warning throttling and watchdog behavior).
- The EntityTracker warning toggle is available in the Fixtale config UI under:
- Existing adaptive distance defaults were tuned for safer server behavior.
A new server crash (probably introduced in Update 4) related to the calculation of proximity to floors and walls has been fixed.

- The system for replacing non-existent or invalid blocks with AIR has been disabled by default. This change will ONLY apply to new "config.json" files.
This feature can be enabled or disabled at any time in the Advanced tab.
- The Fixtale UI is now multilingual! It's important to mention that the translations (except for English and Spanish) were done with the help of AI. I like to be transparent about this; I don't speak the other supported languages, which is why I used AI. If you notice any translation errors, please let me know, and I'll gladly fix them.
Supported languages: English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, and Russian
Due to some changes in Netty/streams (more handling of auxiliary streams and pipeline routes) during Update 4, our SoftPackets feature was working in a limited or partial way.
This update has resolved the issue.
If you encounter any other problems or errors in the coming days, please let me know and I'll gladly try to fix them.
Thanks for supporting Fixtale
