What is GlymeraPrefab?
GlymeraPrefab gives server operators instant access to every prefab structure in Hytale — from tiny rock formations to massive Kweebec villages. Search, browse, and spawn structures by number. Full undo support restores the original terrain including fluids.

Browse & Search
/gps list [page] — Browse all prefabs, 20 per page
/gps search <text> — Search by name
/gps search <text> <minKB> — Filter by minimum file size (KB)
/gps info <nr> — Show prefab details (size, anchor, dimensions)
Spawn & Undo
/gps spawn <nr> [N/E/S/W] — Spawn prefab at your position with optional rotation
/gps undo — Remove last spawned structure, restore terrain
Reload
/gps reload — Rescan prefab list (picks up new asset packs)
All commands are OP-only.
Features
Numbered List
All prefabs are sorted alphabetically and numbered. Search for what you want, note the number, spawn it. No need to type long dot-notation paths.
Size Filter
The search command accepts an optional minimum file size in KB:
This filters out small decorative elements and shows only substantial structures.
Automatic Ground Alignment
Structures are automatically placed so their bottom aligns with your feet.
Rotation
Spawn structures facing any direction: N (North, default), E (East), S (South), W (West).
Recursive Child Resolution
Large layout prefabs (villages, camps) contain PrefabSpawner blocks that reference sub-structures. GlymeraPrefab automatically resolves and places all child prefabs, so settlements spawn complete with all buildings, shops, guard towers, and decorations.
Full Undo with Terrain Restore
Every spawn creates a block-level snapshot of the original terrain (including fluids). Use /gps undo to perfectly restore the landscape. No holes, no leftover water.
Auto-Discovery
The plugin scans all asset packs at startup. New mods or asset packs are automatically picked up on /gps reload or server restart.

- /gps search kweebec 50 — Only prefabs > 50 KB (houses, shops, towers)

- NPC Settlements: ~850 (Kweebec villages, Scarak nests, Trork camps, Outlander outposts)
- Dungeons: ~850 (Cursed Crypt, Goblin Lair, Outlander Temple, Magic Ruins)
- Monuments: ~800
- Plants: ~550

Good to Know
- All commands require operator permissions
- Structures spawn without entities (buildings only, no NPC crowds)
- Undo is per-player — each player can undo their own last spawn
- Undo stores one level — spawning a new structure replaces the previous undo snapshot
- Large structures may take a moment — a village with 40+ sub-prefabs needs a second to fully resolve
- Numbers change on reload — prefab numbers are assigned alphabetically and may shift when new prefabs are added
Performance
GlymeraPrefab is lightweight:
- No background tasks — Only active when a command is used
- Cached prefab buffers — Hytale's built-in cache prevents redundant file reads
- Lazy loading — Prefab data is only loaded when spawning or viewing info
- File-system scan at startup takes < 1 second for 7800+ prefabs
