◆ What is GlymeraWorker?
GlymeraWorker adds automated resource gathering to your Hytale server. Place a special Worker Chest, put any block item into it, and an Outlander Peon worker NPC spawns on top. It walks around, mines blocks of the matching type, and deposits them back into the chest. When the chest is full, the worker waits. When space is freed, it resumes automatically.
◆ How to Get the Worker Chest
- Crafting Recipe — Combine a Crude Chest (Small) with Iron Ore. Toggleable in config.
- Command — /give Furniture_Worker_Chest
◆ How it Works
- Obtain a Worker Chest via crafting or /give command
- Place it on the ground
- Open the chest and place any block item into it (stone, dirt, wood, etc.)
- An Outlander Peon worker spawns on top and begins mining
- After collecting 16 blocks (configurable), the worker returns to deposit
- Cycle repeats — chest full? Worker waits. Space freed? Worker resumes.
- Break the chest to despawn the worker instantly

- Stuck protection — 30s timeout for unreachable blocks, 60s return teleport
- Chunk-aware — Workers pause when no players are nearby
- Clean restart — Ghost NPCs cleaned up automatically
- Double chest protection — Prevents slot waste from multi-block hitboxes
- Single JAR installation — No external dependencies
◆ Supported Blocks
Workers can mine any block that exists as a placeable item:
- Soil — Grass, Dirt, Sand, Snow, Ash, Mud, Clay, Gravel
- Rock — Stone, Basalt, Volcanic, Slate, Marble, Quartzite, Sandstone, Ice, Calcite
- Wood — Oak, Birch, Fir, Maple, Redwood, and all other trunk types
- Any other placeable block — As long as it has a valid block type ID

- scanRadius — Worker scan range (default: 16)
- chestScanRadius — Chest detection range (default: 48)
- workerTickMs — State update interval (default: 2000ms)
- chestScanTickMs — Chest scan interval (default: 5000ms)
- miningDistance — Interaction distance (default: 3.5)
- maxActiveChests — Max chests per player (default: 3)
- stuckTimeoutMs — Stuck timeout (default: 30000ms)
- returnTimeoutMs — Return timeout (default: 60000ms)
- depositThreshold — Blocks before deposit (default: 16)
- maxWorkRadius — Max work distance from chest (default: 32)
◆ Installation
- Stop your Hytale server
- Copy GlymeraWorker.jar into your server's /mods folder
- Start your server
- Config is generated automatically
No additional dependencies or asset packs required — everything is included in the single JAR file.
