HomeSuite 2.0.0 Changelog
Stable 2.0.0 Release
- HomeSuite has been updated to version 2.0.0.
- This release brings HomeSuite in line with StaffSuite and PerformanceSuite, making updates more consistent across the full Suite ecosystem.
- This is a stable build focused on cleaner setup, better compatibility, and improved long-term reliability.
Cleaner GUI Customisation
- GUI, theme, and icon settings have been moved into the new gui-customisation.yml file.
- config.yml is now cleaner and easier to manage.
- Older GUI settings from previous configs are migrated forward automatically where possible.
- Configuration files now update more safely while preserving existing values where possible.
Bedrock, Geyser & Floodgate Support
- Added support for Bedrock players through Geyser/Floodgate.
- Bedrock players can now tap a home to open the action menu, instead of needing Java-style right-click behaviour.
- Added Bedrock-specific home item text: “Tap to manage or teleport”.
Suite Integration Support
- Added support for detecting StaffSuite and PerformanceSuite when installed.
- HomeSuite will now log linked Suite plugins on startup, making it easier to confirm everything is connected correctly.
Command Improvements
- Added new aliases for /deletehome:
- /delhome
- /removehome
- Improved Essentials override handling.
- /home <name> and delete-home style commands can now be handled directly through HomeSuite instead of always opening the GUI.
Teleport Safety Improvements
- Nearby mob blocking now defaults to off for smoother teleporting.
- Added a fallback option if no mob-free safe teleport spot can be found.
- Teleport safety now detects more dangerous blocks, including:
- Cactus
- Campfires
- Magma blocks
- Powder snow
- Sweet berry bushes
- Wither roses
License Handling Improvements
- Simplified license handling and failure messages.
- Temporary license server connection issues will no longer unnecessarily block startup.
- Invalid license startup handling is now cleaner, with safer shutdown behaviour and player notices where needed.
