Kings SMP Plugin

A custom plugin for 1.21–1.21.1 that adds a full custom item ecosystem with a mana system, mythic crafting rituals, PvP mechanics, and unique abilities for every item.

Mana System

Every player has a mana pool (default 100). It regenerates passively and is consumed by item abilities. When you run out, you hear a sound and see "NOT ENOUGH MANA" in your action bar. The mana bar displays above your hotbar whenever you're holding a mana-using item.

Wooden Dagger

Backstab: Deals double damage when attacking from behind
Throw (Right Click): Launches the dagger forward. Hits players and mobs. Costs 75 mana
Counterfeit Bottle o' Enchanting — experience_bottle

A crafted XP bottle. Looks identical to a normal one once placed

UNCOMMON

Stone Dagger

Same as Wooden Dagger but stone tier
Backstab + Throw (75 mana)
Enchanted String — string (glowing)

Crafting material for Void String
Recipe: 5 rows of string in the Uber WorkBench
Enchanted Ender Pearl — ender_pearl (glowing)

Crafting material for Void String
Recipe: 5 ender pearls in a cross pattern
Uber WorkBench — crafting_table (glowing)

Iron Dagger

Backstab + Throw (75 mana)
Dragon Tooth

Rare drop / admin-given material
Cannot be placed or put in ender chests
Void String

Crafting material for Void Bow
Recipe: alternating Enchanted String and Enchanted Pearl (3x3 pattern)

LEGENDARY

Diamond Dagger

Backstab + Throw (75 mana)
Highest tier dagger

Dragon Bone

Drops from the Ender Dragon (1–4 bones, configurable)
Used to craft DragonBone Blade and DragonBone Crown
Player Head — player_head

Drops from any player killed while holding Life Stealer
Used to craft Life Stealer (6 heads required)

EPIC

Bucket of Milk

Right Click: Consumes 50 mana, restores hunger and saturation
The bucket never disappears (infinite use)
Cannot clear potion effects like a normal milk bucket

MYTHIC (Ritual Crafted)

All mythic items are indestructible, cannot despawn, cannot be placed in ender chests, shulker boxes, or grindstones.

DragonBone Blade

Dragon's Breath (Left Click + Sneak): Fires a dragon fireball in your facing direction. 25 mana, 30s cooldown
Beast Tamer (Right Click + Sneak): Summons a rideable Ender Dragon. Lasts 60 seconds, shown on a boss bar for all players. 100 mana, 5 minute cooldown
Passive: Grants Speed I and Strength I permanently while held. Stacks with DragonBone Crown

DragonBone Crown

Passive: Grants permanent Speed I, Strength I, and Fire Resistance while worn
When worn with DragonBone Blade: upgrades to Speed II and Strength II
Right-click to auto-equip into helmet slot
Ritual recipe: 5 Dragon Bones + Dragon Head + 3 Diamonds

Kings Crown

Protection V + Curse of Binding
Right-click to auto-equip
Admin-only item (no crafting recipe)

Life Stealer

Life Drain: Heals 0.5 hearts on every hit (mobs and players). Blocked by shields
Blood Alchemy: On each player kill, gain +1 tier of Strength, Speed, and Absorption for 60 seconds. Stacks up to 5 kills. Timer resets on each kill. Buff shown in action bar
Drops the victim's Player Head on kill
Ritual recipe: 6 Player Heads + 1 Stick

Pretty Kitty Princess Blade

Summon Familiar: Whenever you deal or take damage, summons a tamed cat that attacks your opponent. Costs 10 mana per summon
Backstab: Double damage when attacking from behind
Throw (Right Click): Throws the blade as a projectile. 75 mana
Short range — attacks beyond 1.5 blocks are cancelled
Ritual recipe: 2 Phantom Membranes + 1 Stick

Void Bow

Cosmic Link: Shooting an arrow sets a Void Portal link at the arrow's landing location. Costs 50 mana. Your bow swaps to a Void Portal automatically
Ritual recipe: 3 Shulker Shells + 3 Void Strings + 16 Eyes of Ender

Void Portal

Leap (Right Click): Teleports you to the Cosmic Link location. 25 mana. Swaps back to your Void Bow
Banish (Hit a player): Teleports the hit player to the Cosmic Link. 10 mana
Obtained automatically when a Void Bow arrow lands

Avian Trident

Mega Throw (Right Click + Sneak): Launches you into the air with forward momentum. 80 mana
Falling with Style: While sneaking and airborne, applies Slow Falling. Costs 3 mana per second
Ritual recipe: 64 Flint + 32 Feathers + 1 Trident
Mythic Ritual System
Mythic items cannot be crafted in a normal workbench. Instead:

Open the Uber WorkBench and place the required materials
Click the result slot — this starts a Mythic Ritual
A rotating armor stand appears at your location with a health bar and charge timer
Left-click the stand to deal damage to it (5 damage normally, 15 with a mythic weapon)
The ritual charges over 30 minutes. Defend it from other players trying to destroy it
If the health reaches 0, the ritual fails and materials are lost
If the timer completes, the mythic item drops at the ritual location
A boss bar shows the ritual location to all online players. Admins can toggle which mythics are craftable with /ritual <item> <on|off> and force-stop any active ritual with /stopritual.

Systems
PvP Toggle — /pvp on|off (op)

Globally enables or disables player vs player damage
During PvP, mana is capped at 100 (no overcharge abuse)
Fireworks and ender pearls are blocked while in combat
Combat Tag — 30 second timer (configurable)

Triggered when a player deals or takes PvP damage
Blocks ender pearls and fireworks during combat
Combat logging (disconnecting while tagged) kills the player and broadcasts a message
Check your timer with /combattimer
Enchant Limits — runs every 10 minutes

Sharpness capped at IV
Power capped at IV
Protection capped at III
End Portal Lock — after Ender Dragon death

Portal locks for 5 minutes (configurable)
Red stained glass blocks the portal area
Players walking on it are notified of the remaining time
Ender Chest / Shulker / Grindstone Protection

Mythic items cannot be placed in ender chests, shulker boxes, or grindstones

Configuration

Everything is tunable in config.yml — mana costs, cooldowns, damage values, ritual duration and health, dragon drop amounts, portal lock time, enchant limits, particle toggles, and all messages. Use /kingsreload to apply changes live.
