Fixes several mistakes made in the last update:
Be sure to regenerate the configuration for the knockback plugin if you used 3.3. Regenerating the configuration for the patchwork plugin is optional.
- Double space after the prefix for the patchwork plugin.
- 'console spam' from the patchwork plugin - scaffold walk now needs to be enabled manually, the check works though (javiturec).
- Resolves issue with AntiKnockback not banning players (javiturec).
- Resolves false positives from crits of the patchwork plugin.
- Applied color code philosophy in last update's notes towards the major checks of ncp, i.e, fastplace, Aim-bot checks, fastbreak, Flying, etc.
Hey, everyone
First off, my apologies for the long delay in updates, I've had a lot going on for the past month, with plenty more for me to be taking on within the next two weeks. I just want to make it clear that I am far from abandoning this project and still intend to build upon it much further.
Configuration changes:
In regards to ncp patchwork:
- Loosen elytra movement check to be less strict.
- Several combat improvements (Will still need a ton of work, still plan to redo)
- Several movement check improvements, both config and plugin-wise.
- Completely redone on autosteal check.
- notifications for several checks are sent much quicker - fly, fastclick, etc, etc (Will continue to being expanding upon this).
- Began reincorporating tps/ping check prior to kicking players; this is simply the first step on a long path of a layered ban and advanced notification system that I will be incorporating fully by the end of spring. Each update I'll be uploading will be piecing together the first layer to the third, in likely a color-coded format i.e green (&a) is possiblly someone hacking while red (&c) is bluntly hacking. I am giving myself until the end of spring to finish this as it'll require extensive testing and feedback from buyers preferably via mc-market messaging - it doesn't have to be anything fancy. I'm fine with any small comments from "hey, the fastbow check works really well" to "hi, survivalfly is false banning players". I'm always open to criticism.
- Updated to the latest development build.
- I've chosen to abandon ntac; from the feedback, I have gotten and my own testing I've concluded that this would be the best step moving forward. The endless number of errors and bugs, which I've solved a large handful of, are honestly ridiculous.
- I may end up coding a new plugin from scratch but this will be for a much later time.
- For the time being, I've left a fork of an alternative patchwork plugin which I hope will be far more stable than ntac.
Several improvements made towards the configuration, primarily the combat portion after several hours of testing with a variety of clients available publicly. Resolves very high VL issue with survival fly some users were experiencing.
Minor improvements and clearer instructions added towards the custom ncp patchwork plugin.
Had a simple compile mistake on IntelliJ's side not properly using the plugin.yml in the patchwork plugin which only took a few seconds to fix. I should make it clearer that it's in beta, bugs are expected. The main portion that is being paid for is the configuration; the patchwork plugin is out my own generosity. If any developer wants the source code to improve the plugin or resolve issues, I don't mind sharing it. The same applies to the bungee notifier - if any wants the source code to update the plugin for the community, let me know.
No changes were made to the actual configuration for this update.
More or less another cleanup update.
- Configuration changes - several minor improvements, not worth noting individually.
- Resolves issue with nofall not working in 1.7 properly.
- Support for bungee notifier has been dropped, maintaining the plugin is not personally worth my time.
- Patches issue with patchwork plugin where players were getting kicked when hit that some people were experiencing. (If the issue persists, drop me another message and make sure that you are using both plugins in the folder, thanks!)
I hate being that guy who cheaply self promotes myself, however, I wanted to note that I am temporarily offering a service which introduces effective banning to my configuration by checking server tps and player ping prior to banning. This service can be found here (with prices) if anyone is interested. This service is offered on my spare time, hence why it is only open till January 29th and may not return for quite some time.
This update aims to resolve the few flaws in the previous update:
- Should resolve the errors with NTAC that I was messaged with (tuandm & Citrus).
- Resolves simple mistake with Crits (chris_gspvp).
- Optimized Critical values further.
