Hey everyone! We are OneMc, and we are incredibly proud to present our passion project: OneVanilla Environment.
We’ve always felt that while Minecraft is a beautiful game, it sometimes feels a bit... static. We wanted to breathe life into the world, to make you feel the dampness of the rain, the heat of the desert, and the magic of a quiet night in the woods. But most importantly, we wanted to do this without adding any mods, resource packs, or causing server lag.
Everything you see is 100% server-side, heavily optimized, and built for modern Minecraft (1.20.4+).
Dynamic Player Footprints Every step you take leaves a mark. Players will leave behind highly realistic, directional footprints.
Realistic Window Rain Drops Looking out of your window during a storm has never been cozier.
Smart Rain Puddles When it rains, the ground gets wet.
Ambient Fireflies The feature we all wanted from Mojang, finally here.
Deep Desert Sandstorms Deserts are no longer just quiet piles of sand.
Swaying Falling Leaves Forests feel truly alive. Leaves will occasionally fall from trees, swaying gently side to side (using sine-wave math for realistic gliding physics) until they hit the ground. During storms, leaves fall less because they are wet and heavy!
Reactive Cave & Mining Dust
Rain Steam When cold rain hits hot Lava, Fire, or Campfires, it instantly evaporates, creating continuous pillars of white steam.
We know that some players have lower-end PCs, or maybe they just prefer a cleaner screen. That's why we included a Personal Toggle System.
Players can simply type /onevanilla toggle <effect> (e.g., /onevanilla toggle footprints) to disable or enable specific effects just for themselves!
Performance First:
Absolutely everything is in your control. The config.yml allows you to change biome chances, radius distances, particle amounts, toggle features completely off, and edit every single chat message/prefix!

Features That Bring Your World to Life
- Smart Materials: Walking on dirt leaves a dirt print. Walking in the rain? You'll leave muddy, wet footprints behind!
- Smooth Fading: Footprints don't just disappear instantly; they smoothly shrink and fade away over time.
- Actual water drops will form on the outside of glass blocks and panes.
- Drops dynamically slide down the glass, and if you have a tall glass wall, they will seamlessly travel down from one block to the next!
- Note: Drops respect roofs! If your window is under a deep overhang, it won't get wet.
- Puddles naturally form in grassy and dirt areas.
- We use an advanced 3D visual cluster system, meaning puddles overlap naturally and don't look like boring squares.
- Drying System: When the sun comes out, puddles will slowly dry up. They dry faster on sand and dirt, but stay longer on stone. They also dry much slower at night!
- Vibrant, neon green/yellow fireflies will emerge at night in specific biomes (Plains, Swamps, Forests).
- They naturally hover around tall grass and flowers, blinking in the dark.
- They vanish when it rains or when morning comes.
- If a player travels deep into a desert biome (away from the edges), they might encounter a sandstorm.
- Features 3 levels of intensity, from a light breeze of sand to a massive, blinding horizontal wall of dust!
- Ambient Cave Dust: Gentle, white ash floats around players deep underground.
- Mining Dust: Breaking Stone or Ores releases a burst of thick dust. Breaking Cobblestone releases a bit less.
- Explosions: TNT and creepers now leave behind massive, lingering clouds of dust and debris!
Player Freedom & Performance

- Built entirely on asynchronous tasks and math-based algorithms.
- Zero ticking entities used (we use modern Display entities and packets).
- Distance checks ensure particles only render exactly where they need to.
Commands & Permissions
- /onevanilla help - Shows the help menu. (Permission: onevanilla.use)
- /onevanilla toggle <effect> - Toggle personal effects. (Permission: onevanilla.use)
- /onevanilla reload - Reloads the configuration safely. (Permission: onevanilla.admin)
