QualityControl grades the gear your players already use into six quality tiers
(Common → Mythic), each with its own colour, base stats, a random roll of attributes,
and — at Legendary and Mythic — a unique ability. Crafted, looted and mob-dropped gear
is graded automatically, so nothing plain ever slips through. Every visual is generated by the
built-in resource-pack engine and delivered to players on join.
- Six quality tiers — Common → Mythic. Tier-coloured names + per-category base stats.
- ~45 random attributes — crit, lifesteal, elemental damage, armour pierce/shred, mining perks, movement, defence and more. More affix slots at higher tiers.
- 37 unique abilities — chain lightning, double jump, Guardian damage-sharing, vein miner, second wind, and many more. Auto-rolled at Legendary (I) / Mythic (II).
- Fully custom animated tooltips — per-tier frames, glyph stat blocks and header pills.
- Craftable Reforging Table — re-roll an item's stats, or rename it with a Rune of Rename.
- Auto-grading — vanilla loot, mob drops and loot-plugin loot are graded on the way in (JustLootIt supported).
- Custom-item support — register ItemsAdder / Oraxen / Nexo items into the grading system.
- Allies system — /qc allies with friendly-fire protection and shared team abilities.
- Admin GUI — grade, edit attributes and assign abilities from an easy menu (permission-gated).
- In-game guide — /qcgear help explains every material, attribute and ability.
- QCCore — FREE. Pack engine + delivery, storage (SQLite/MySQL/YAML), allies, custom-item registry. Download here (required).

- Server: Paper (or a fork) 1.21.4 – 26.2. One pack loads across the whole range.
- Java: 21+. Minecraft 26.1+ requires Java 25+ on the server.
- Optional: Vault, MythicMobs, ModelEngine, JustLootIt — all safe if absent.
- First start downloads a small database driver from Maven Central (needs internet once).

- Install QCCore (free) and QCGear in /plugins, then restart.
- Tune everything in the configs — or use our online config generator + wiki.
