Hey everyone! I'm thrilled to unveil ToxicRain v2.0, the largest and most game-changing update to the plugin yet! This version goes beyond simple weather and transforms ToxicRain into a true apocalypse creation toolkit, putting unparalleled control directly into your hands.
This update is the result of amazing feedback and focuses on one core principle: limitless customization.
This isn't just an update; it's a complete evolution.
New Features
You are no longer limited by vanilla mechanics. Design, create, and implement your own unique protective gear with an incredibly powerful and intuitive armor.yml file.
The Custom Armor Framework (Flagship Feature!)
- Truly Custom Items: Define everything: custom names, lore with color codes, specific leather colors, enchantments, unbreakable status, and even an enchantment glow effect.
- NBT-Powered & Cheat-Proof: Protection is tied to a hidden NBT tag, not the item's name or color. Players can rename, enchant, or repair items on an anvil without ever breaking the core protection logic. This is the professional, reliable solution you've been looking for.
- Perfect for Any Server: Create rare loot, donor rewards, or epic quest items that have a real, tangible impact on gameplay.
Why stop at Poison? You now have full control over the afflictions caused by the rain.
Fully Configurable Potion Effects
- Unlimited Effects: Add any combination of potion effects you want through the config. Wither, Slowness, Mining Fatigue, Blindness — the choice is yours!
- Total Control: For each effect, you can define the duration and amplifier to create anything from a minor inconvenience to a truly deadly chemical storm.
You finally have the ultimate say in what constitutes a "roof."
Advanced Rain Occlusion System
- Intelligent Block Lists: A new rain-occlusion section in the config lets you define force_protect_blocks (like Glass, which will now protect players) and force_pass_through_blocks (like Leaves, which will never protect them). No more unfair damage under a glass dome!
命令行 'Give Armor' Command & Set Support
Spawning your new custom armor has never been easier.
- Give Single Items: Use /tr givearmor <set_name>.<piece_name> to give a specific piece of armor.
- Give Entire Sets: Use /tr givearmor <set_name> to instantly give a player every piece of a configured armor set. Perfect for admin use, command blocks, or other plugins!
Quality of Life Improvements
- Command Alias: You can now use /tr as a much faster alias for /toxicrain.
Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed: Items marked as unbreakable: true will now correctly ignore all custom durability damage from the rain and will never break.
- Fixed: Players in Creative mode are now fully immune to all negative effects from the rain (damage, potion effects, and armor durability loss).
- Improved: The plugin has undergone a significant code refactor to be cleaner, more efficient, and easier to maintain.
This update introduces major changes to armor.yml and config.yml (for potion effects). Your old files are now outdated. Please backup your old configs, allow the plugin to generate new ones, and then transfer your settings over.
