Trophy Hunt
Trophy Hunt turns mob kills into a real progression system. Kill a mob enough times and you unlock its trophy: a passive buff while equipped, and for most trophies a grounded active ability on a cooldown. No spellcasting, no magic system, just mob-tied gear that gets stronger the more you hunt.
Built for: survival and SMP servers that want a kill-based progression loop without adding a full skill or class system.
12 mobs, 12 trophies
/trophy opens the Trophy Collection GUI showing every trophy, locked or unlocked, with kill counts. Kill a tracked mob and there is a chance it drops its trophy; the chance rises with your weapon's Looting level. Trophies span zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, endermen, blaze, wither skeletons, iron golems, rabbits, horses, axolotls, and phantoms.
Passive buffs and grounded active abilities
Equip up to 2 trophies at once (configurable) for their passive effects: jump boost from the Rabbit Trophy, speed from the Horse Trophy, resistance from the Iron Golem Trophy, and more. Most trophies also carry an active ability triggered with /trophy use, on its own cooldown: Berserk (strength and resistance), Dash, Leap, Regen, Phase (short blink), Fire Ward, Shockwave (knockback), Snare (root nearby enemies), Night Eyes (night vision), and Bulwark (heavy resistance). Every ability plays a sound and, on activation or denial, tells you exactly what happened.
Kill count drives real tiers
Each trophy tracks your kills against that mob and advances through 5 tiers as you rack them up. Higher tiers shorten active cooldowns and raise ability strength, both by a configurable percentage per tier. /trophy stats shows your equipped trophies and their current tier at a glance.

Configuration
config.yml holds the equip slot cap, passive refresh rate, tier kill thresholds, cooldown reduction and magnitude scaling per tier, Looting drop bonus, autosave interval, sounds, and GUI materials. Every one of the 12 trophies has its own entry: entity, name, description, item material, drop chance, passives, and active ability tuning (cooldown, duration, magnitude, radius). messages.yml externalizes every player-facing line. Run /trophy reload to apply changes with no restart.

Installation
Try it first
Trophy Hunt is straightforward to try. Drop the jar in your plugins folder, kill a few tracked mobs, and open /trophy to see the GUI fill in as trophies unlock.
