Claimseal
Claimseal is a chunk-based land claim plugin with a permanent audit trail and automatic dispute resolution. Players claim the ground they stand on, trust friends to build with them, and every change is written to a log that cannot be edited in-game. When two players contest the same chunk, Claimseal settles it on the spot using the priority rules you choose, so staff never have to referee a land argument.
Built for: Survival, SMP, Skyblock.
How claiming works
A claim is a single 16 by 16 chunk. Stand anywhere in it and run /claim claim to take it. One chunk always has exactly one owner, which is what lets a dispute resolve to a single winner. Inside a claim, only the owner and trusted members can build, open containers, and use doors and switches. Wilderness outside claims is never touched, so redstone and farms behave exactly as vanilla. Releasing a claim takes two confirmations, so it never happens by accident.
The audit trail
Every claim, unclaim, trust change, dispute, and admin action is written to a permanent per-chunk log with the actor, the timestamp, and a short detail. Nothing in it can be edited from in-game. The log survives a chunk changing hands, so the full history of a piece of land is always visible.
Automatic dispute resolution
When a player believes a chunk should be theirs, they stand in it and run /claim dispute. Claimseal does not open a ticket. It reads an ordered list of priority rules from the config, applies the first one that favors a side, records the outcome, and tells both players why. The available rules are inactivity (owner has not logged in for X days), staff-priority (higher claimseal.priority weight wins), claim-balance (fewer total claims wins), and possession (owner always keeps the land, a safe rule to put last). The default setup only lets a challenger take an abandoned chunk after 30 days of owner inactivity. A loser has to wait before challenging the same chunk again, so disputes cannot be spammed.
Features
Commands
Base command /claimseal, aliases /claim and /land.
Permissions
Configuration
config.yml is fully commented and covers claim caps (total and per-world), which worlds allow claiming, container and interaction protection toggles, the dispute rule order and its cooldown and inactivity thresholds, and audit log size and retention. messages.yml holds every player-facing line in MiniMessage format. Run /claim reload after editing, no restart needed.
