Vaultbreak adds timed heist runs to your server. You build the vault, players run it: pick the locks, grab the loot, and reach the escape point before the alarm maxes out or the guards catch you.

Built for: Survival, SMP, minigame servers.

Pick the locks, beat the alarm

Each vault has one or more lock points that take a few right-clicks to crack. Every pick attempt, cracked lock, and grabbed loot stash adds to a rising alarm meter, so moving fast and quiet actually matters. A boss bar tracks the alarm percentage, locks remaining, loot remaining, and the run timer live.

Guards that react
Guard mobs stand post around the vault. Once the alarm passes a configurable threshold, more guards spawn and the ones already out get faster, so a loud run gets harder to finish clean.

Grab the loot, get the leaderboard time

Loot points are tagged common, rare, or legendary, each with its own weighted item table. Grab every loot point and reach the escape point before time runs out for a clean heist, the run type that counts for the leaderboard.

Per-vault leaderboard and stats

Every clean heist is timed and saved. Check the fastest runs on a vault with /vaultbreak top, or a player's own lifetime record with /vaultbreak stats.

Build vaults without leaving the game

Set the entry and escape points, add lock blocks, loot points, and guard posts, all from in-game commands while looking at the block or standing where you want it. The admin panel gives a quick read-only overview of every vault and its state. Run as many vaults as the server needs, each with its own cooldown after a run ends.

Permissions

• vaultbreak.use - run heists and view vault info, leaderboards, and stats. Default: everyone.
• vaultbreak.admin - build and manage vaults, and reload the plugin. Default: operators.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21 to 26.1.2.
• Paper, Spigot, or Bukkit.
• Java 21.

Installation

1. Drop Vaultbreak-1.0.0.jar into your plugins folder.
2. Start the server once to generate the config.
3. Build a vault with /vaultbreak create, setentry, setescape, addlock, addloot, and addguard, then run /vaultbreak reload.
