Vantage
Vantage gives your server a configurable sidebar scoreboard, tab list header and footer, and a rotating action bar, all in one plugin. Every display is built with MiniMessage, supports PlaceholderAPI, and can be toggled on or off per player.

Built for: any survival or SMP server that wants a clean, informative HUD without running three separate display plugins.

A sidebar that stays flicker-free

The sidebar scoreboard shows an animated title and up to 15 lines, built with MiniMessage so gradients, colors, and bold text all work. Lines refresh on a configurable interval and only redraw when the number of lines changes, so there is no flicker. Worlds can have their own title and lines, useful for a nether board that looks different from the overworld.

Tab list header and footer

Set a header and footer for the player list, each its own list of lines. Placeholders like online count and ping refresh live, so the tab list always shows current numbers.

A rotating action bar
Cycle through a list of action bar messages on a timer you set. Each message is resent before it fades, so it never flickers or disappears early.

Players choose what they see

/vantage opens a menu where a player can toggle the scoreboard, tab list, and action bar on or off individually, with a click sound and updated icon for each choice. The same toggles are available as commands for players who prefer typing.

Commands

• /vantage open the display menu.
• /vantage toggle <scoreboard|tab|actionbar|all> show or hide a display.

• /vantage help list commands for your permission level.
• /vantage reload reload config and messages (admin only).

/vantage can also be run as /vt, /scoreboard, or /sb. Every command has tab completion filtered to what the sender can run.

Permissions

• vantage.use open the display menu and toggle your own displays. Default: everyone.
• vantage.admin reload the plugin. Default: operators.

Configuration
config.yml controls the scoreboard title and lines (with per-world overrides), the tab header and footer, the action bar messages and rotation speed, the update interval, and the toggle sounds. messages.yml externalizes every player-facing line, including the /vantage help text. Run /vantage reload to apply changes with no restart.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21 to 26.1.2.
• Paper, Spigot, or Bukkit.
• Java 21.

Installation

1. Put Vantage-1.0.0.jar in your plugins folder.
2. Start the server once to create config.yml and messages.yml.
3. Edit the scoreboard, tab, and action bar text in config.yml to fit your server, or leave the defaults.
4. Run /vantage reload, or restart, to apply your settings.
