Vocation
Vocation adds profession leveling to your server. Players level up Mining, Farming, Fishing, and Combat just by playing, then unlock real perks like double drops, auto smelt, tool durability saves, and bonus XP. Two in-game menus show every profession's progress and perk track. Built for SMPs and survival servers.
Built for: Survival, SMP, Skyblock.
How it works
Players earn XP in the four professions just by playing: breaking ore and stone for Mining, harvesting fully grown crops for Farming, catching fish for Fishing, and killing mobs for Combat. The XP needed per level grows a little each time, and perks unlock automatically at set levels, no points to spend and no menus to manage.
The four professions
Perks
Each profession has its own perk track, unlocked automatically as the player levels up.
Prestige
Once a profession hits max level, a player can prestige it: the level resets to 1 in exchange for a permanent XP bonus for that profession, 3% per prestige by default, up to 10 prestiges. Prestige needs a confirmation, either by shift-clicking again in the perk menu or by adding "confirm" to the command, so it never happens by accident.

The XP needed per level grows a little each time, and perks unlock automatically at set levels, no points to spend and no menus to manage.
The four professions
- Mining - break ore and stone for XP. Rarer ores like diamond and ancient debris are worth much more than stone.
- Farming - harvest fully grown crops for XP. Crops that are not fully grown give nothing, so it rewards real farming.
- Fishing - every catch grants XP, and treasure catches like enchanted books and name tags grant a lot more.
- Combat - kill mobs for XP. Tougher mobs are worth more, up to the Wither and the Ender Dragon. Spawner mobs and player kills do not count by default.
Perks
Each profession has its own perk track, unlocked automatically as the player levels up.
- Tough Tools - a chance your tool takes no durability damage.
- Double Drop - a chance to double what you gather.
- Auto Smelt - ore drops already smelted, keeping fortune and silk touch. Mining only.
- Fast Learner - a chance to earn double vocation XP.
