We are RepubliCraft managers, a team of dedicated gamers and players seeking a new, realistic simulation of real-life brought into Minecraft; we are introducing a Republic, US-styled government (hence the server name), a complete law enforcement system, economic and business possibilities, crime, vehicles, houses, and much more.

At the moment, we are seeking helpers and administrators;

• A helper is a staff member who is not necessarily fulfilling a role in any of our moderator, developer, and builder positions--think of this position like an "intern" into the server. Players who want to become server builders, developers, or just help the server as a whole start here. Players who do not want a huge responsibility or role to play in the server should start here. Players new or with limited experience to staffing should apply here.

• An administrator is a staff member who fulfills multiple roles in a governing function; an administrator should be competent and experienced in general plugin configuration, server development, and management. Players with a lot of former experience as a server owner or manager would fit here. Players may seek this position on the application, however, may only receive an offer for helper after review. Although potential administrators are not required to have a complete, working knowledge of how the server works when they apply, they must have the ability to learn and adapt.

We encourage anyone who feels up to the task to apply. We will provide comprehensive training to those in need and prepare them adequately for their roles. Anyone may apply.

Are staff REQUIRED to govern said entities or are we just running the server like regular staff? Because as interesting as the server concept may be, I'm not that much of an RPer.

Staff are not required to facilitate RP, and as with many staff teams, there are various teams you can enlist in through either ranks. However, the game is designed with a sort of enjoyment to it, meaning you don't have to solely RP--there'll be combat and PvP using weapons such as firearms, law enforcement chasing criminals, the works...

We are looking for builders and developers. If you are a builder or developer, you may apply for either the helper or administrator rank (depending on your skill, experience, and anticipated dedication). We are planning on a completely custom and realistic map with custom plugins, meaning a lot of opportunities are available now!
