Right. You'd first have to define what you mean by socialism given how many variants of it there are.
Even our current system has parts of socialism. We live in a mixed economic system currently, and even boomers who support Trump take advantages of things like social security/medicare.

Probably, yes. Obviously I know that not everyone in politics is like that, but I don't feel like writing an essay on my political beliefs. I don't like Trump, I don't like Bernie, and I don't like self-righteous fanatics. Bernie is a great person and has always been on the right side of everything if you look at his history. He deserves to be president.
You seem passionate about this. Why not discuss this on a politically-based forum, rather than one full of children who you should expect aren't going to be willing to hold a civilised and sophisticated political conversation with you?
Nah, I don't care that much. For the most part, I'm just bored. I'm not that into politics, but I do my own research and look deeply at both sides of the argument before saying anything. Trust me, I hate being wrong.
And why not educate the kids of McMarket if I can? Future generations are the ones who will be affected the most, and they are also the ones who can make the biggest change. Even if I can't change your mind, maybe I can change a reader's mind and they'll do their own research with my arguments taken into consideration.
You can't properly educate people if you insinuate one candidate is better than another. You have to go in-depth on the views of each and every candidate, and include the right of those you hate, and the wrong of those you love. I think it's good that your goal is to get others to research, but by saying Sanders is good, you're either making those anti-Sanders angry, or getting those pro-Sanders to just accept what you say and not do any research; it's counterproductive, really.

Let's quickly re-iterate over my arguments in the thread.
Trump Cons (that I have mentioned throughout the thread):
- Trump is a liar and a con artist. He plays people. This is backed up if you look at his history that I mentioned -- the Trump University scam, inflating property value, avoiding taxes, holding fake charities for narcissistic reasons, contradicting himself frequently, etc.
- Trump lacks empathy. He inherited his wealth, and he's always been rich and spoiled as a result. He cannot possibly relate with the average working American family even if he wanted to.
- Trump is illiterate and lacks attention to detail. If he can't even pay enough attention to avoid making a typo in every other tweet he posts, how can we take him seriously at all?
- Trump is not a smart person nor a good businessman. He's gone bankrupt multiple times and always asks his dad for more loans whenever he screws up.
- Trump is extremely racist and spreads hatred, and he even passively threatened/hinted civil war if he were to get impeached as I mentioned.
- Even in his teenager years, Bernie was arrested for using his own white privilege to fight back against racism and bigotry and oppression and inequality. He also marched with Martin Luther King.
- While Trump was worried about his TV ratings on The Celebrity Apprentice and his hotels and holding fake charities, Bernie was fighting for the working class as he has been for decades.
- Bernie has always been on the right side of history and has a good track record of fighting against corruption.
- Bernie is extremely consistent and has been saying the same things for 3+ decades now.
And this is what I meant by sides.
In your head, it's anti-Trump vs. anti-Bernie. Blue vs. Red. No right choice. Both are politicians and therefore they're both corrupt and shit, blabla. But that's a very ignorant and narrow-minded view of politics, especially when you take into consideration the aforementioned facts about Bernie vs. Trump which you don't seem to be willing to do. No one else like Sloth is willing to respond to my counter arguments either, so I have no other conclusion to reach other than that I may very well just be right, so I will go with that.
There are better candidates. There are better choices. And Trump is one of the worst choices, if not the worst choice (for the majority of Americans, perhaps not the top 1%). It's really not even up for debate. Just look at the facts.
You saying that it is up for debate would imply that they're both equal candidates. But they aren't, and I don't want to spread that view as if they are, so I will never even be neutral toward Trump. He is a shit person. He needs to be removed from office, for everyone's sake.
I'm not on Bernie's side. I'm on the side of the working class of America and the typical low income family. I will support the views of whoever will do the most for them. Right now that's Bernie.

Obviously you've never lived under an oppressive regime, or under the remains of a broken system like the ussr, like my grandparents and parents did. The sjw liberals are the Bourgeoisie, the very people who advocate for the system are people who will be killed by it. After the rich leave country, and are safe with their money in Swiss accounts, and there are no funds to "distribute," the economy crashes, and those middle class and people who remaining unloyals will be put on their knees and shot in the back of their heads, or sent to work camps to benefit the state until the meat of their fingertips is worn away to bone. You have no idea how lucky you are to live in a western nation.
