Bitnesia Logo No Shadow Small.png

Bitnesia Network
Now Hiring Developers

Before you contact Alex or I, please read the following so you have a better understanding.

My name is Zack, or as I go in-game, ZacheryMC. I am a proud Owner of an upcoming network. We're working towards completely custom games for the community's enjoyment, such as Survival Games, Eggwars, Drug Craft, Duels, Basketball, and more!

As a Developer for this network, you will be expected to be readily available when needed; you are not required to stay active as we are aware the vast majority of developers are consistently working on several separate plugins for different servers. That being said, let's move on with the requirements!

If you wish to be a Developer for us, you must meet the following requirements:

~ At least 16 years of age (negotiable)
~ Must have clear and thorough understanding of Java
~ Readily available if needed (negotiable)
~ Experience will increase your chances

Although these are simple requirements that shouldn't be hard to follow, you might not be convinced that you wish to develop for the server. However, here are a few perks you will get on the network if you do decide to become a Developer:

~ OP (cannot punish)
~ $20-$50/d (negotiable)
~ [DEV] rank in-game
~ Possible $100 retirement tip (when available)

The retirement tip is only when you decide you don't wish to work and develop for the network anymore. This tip depends on your work ethic, so remember: Quality over quantity! And another reminder: This is a possible tip, not definite. If we, the staff team, feel your work exceeds quality standards and you were an amazing person to work with, chances are you will receive this retirement tip!

The only issue is this: I cannot afford a Developer right now.

Now before you click off of this thread, allow me to inform you that although at this very moment I do not have any money to provide, you should still contact me. Why? Personally, I'm getting a job in the next couple weeks here, and I will have a good amount of money to invest in developers like you! So do not fret! The earlier you contact, the better!

Contact Me:

Skype: zplaysminecraft44 (Me)
Skype: yt_diamondcreeper (Alex)

Important Note: AlexGalaxyDev is currently the second Owner of this network. He will be more than happy to assist you in the comments below if I cannot respond quick enough.

Thank you for reading, and I can't wait to get started with you all!

For future reference - these guys want everything "custom"(yes, it's one of those ladies and gents, here they are) - and when i asked them why, he just responded "Be professional, more money" - which by the way, is not even a guarantee.

Tried to give a server a chance(for later payment).
Big mistake.

You said why not use "NameTagEdit", i responded with "we want everything custom", you asked for a reason and i said "More professional, more payment" meaning if it turned out better than planned, there would be a better payment.

Im sorry, but if you don't like the fact we want everything custom, this isn't the place for you.

Kindest Regards,

Of course i don't like it when we aren't guaranteed payment, buddy boy.
We did state our financial issue, and there will be a contract soon to come into place, if you do not like the idea, as i said, this isn't the place for you.

Kindest Regards,

But this is the thread where i can warn other software engineers/developers/plugin developers about what you're looking for, and what you're offering in return. And this contract better contain a statement that you guarantee payment, or else, no.
The contract is in the making, as we speak.

Kindest Regards,

This thread is highly misleading.

I have spoke with this user on skype and after he said I was hired, I asked what the pay would be like to confirm with the thread, and he answered $50 when the thread said $20 to $50 an hour.

Not to mention, that they do not have the money immediately.

Just thought I would say this to warn potential applicants.

That is a miscommunication on my part, I sincerely apologize. It is $20-$50/d. Not month, not week, not hour. The price is per day, and can be negotiated depending on how well and quickly you can develop.

As to add on to the little "argument" Alex had with NinePoints: Of course a contract is going to come into play. We can assure each developer that will be working for us that they are guaranteed payment; at the moment, all they can go by is my word. I live up to that, but again, it's all up to the developer on whether or not they wish to develop for us.

Hoped I cleared that up, I will be making the changes now. Thank you for pointing this out :)

In order for any contract to be legal in most states, the two parties must be of age in order for it to be legally bidding (depending on the state). < just a heads up

As for the plugins you want developed, is there a google document stating each and every detail of the plugins?

Currently, we have text documents summing up the plugins. We have plenty of developers contacting us at the moment, and I'm not sure if we need any more, as a matter of fact. And thank you for the heads up. Everyone's asking for a contract and I'm sitting here confused xD I'm a generally laidback person and true to my word; what is labeled is what you should expect to get.

Well everyone is being cautious because, one you joined today, two you are saying you can't pay until a little down the road. The whole deal seems sketchy due to the fact of you saying "I will pay 20-50/d, but not now".

Completely understandable. I didn't have an MC Market account, nor did he. But we both suggested we use MC Market to find great working Developers (it's where we found one developer willing to work for us). I understand it's sketchy, yes. But all we can do that's within our power is have them take our word for it. Plus, we're not requiring them to begin developing when we don't have money. When we DO have money, that's when they can begin. The initial plan is for us to pay first, then they can work on the plugin. That, or in the middle of development, we pay them. Whichever they prefer :)
