How did you learn Minecraft Plugin Development?

Sorry if I'm in the wrong section but for a long time I have wanted to learn Java Development and how to code Minecraft plugins. If anyone could link me to any resources or videos to help me with my goal then please do comment down the resource/video.

This is also for everyone else who wants to learn Java Coding.

I bought this course - https://www.udemy.com/java-the-complete-java-developer-course/ and I picked up on the language relatively quickly and well. Regards to the Bukkit API I just messed about, challenging myself. Hope that course helps dude

Don't learn through videos. The publisher is either incompetent or they lack in regards to transposing important core information. I would suggest a book. They can be around $40-$90 depending on which one you get - however - they are worth every penny. I advise one by O'riley media, they seem to be proficient and one of my personal favourite.

Make sure you have a strong understanding of Java before jumping into creating plugins. If you do, then you'll be in a mess, or you'll waste a huge amount of time which could be used to learn Java. So don't play yourself.

Seems pretty old. Microphone isn't the best. Spigot programming is more better than Bukkit programming??
