Yup! I think Discord has a limit of 500 channels per server so it would quickly be in a state that new clients would be in a queue, but this is also the case with ticket systems, since they are just channels.

For me my volume is much lower so I wouldn't hit this threshold, but for larger service teams I think they would need the ability to set a limit to the number of channels automatically created the "maximum private channels" as I wrote above. I think this is the case with ticketing systems in general that you can set a limit to the max number that can be active at once.
Well, the thing is with service teams they need to ensure they meet the requirements of the client, the freelancer whilst it being convenient and easy for them to manage commissions professionally, which is why it is very difficult to come up with original ideas that can work for all three parties.

Yes, a freelancer panel where the freelancer can track their commissions and perform actions.
I do like the idea of this, not sure how much it would cost[DOUBLEPOST=1619714724][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah but with ticketing systems not everyone has their own channel, they only get a channel when they create a commission.

That's a terrible idea for the team, can get messy very easily.

That's why there needs to be a limit to the number of automatic channels that get created, make it 0 by default. From a clients perspective it is the closest experience to a DM as it reduces friction.

I already coded a simple bot to do it and it works great for my use case with only 1 new client per day, but the system needs the rest, specifically renaming and permissions to function in a minimum viable setup for me.

What I would suggest is a web-based ticketing system (For freelancers) so they can manage their commissions properly (i.e: Upload final product for review by CM/Management) - you may dm me if you want more ideas :p
Just ping them in the ticket - dming the freelancer everytime a client posts a msg can POSSIBLY lead to discord API spam

This has a lot of potential as well. If there was a website that could help track requests and link back to DM groups for example that could be amazing.

Yeah, but to summarise:
- Make sure all your features favour all three parties (Client, Freelancer, Management), else the process nor the experience will be smooth.

Yeah for sure going to look into pricing for a website, feel like this could be the best way to create a personal dm experience as well as having an organised place for freelancers to view and manage all their commissions.
As well as this, it would be possible to automatically send the payment to all necessary places as soon as the client as paid.[DOUBLEPOST=1619715350][/DOUBLEPOST]

Will definitely make sure to make this a priority, although I will prioritize the Client and Freelancer side of things as I feel like there is only so much that I would need to 'appeal' to me as a manager.

Well, in my personal experience - I would make it easier for me to manage tickets professional in a stress-free environment.

For sure, if I am able to provide a smooth system for freelancers as well as a more simple process for clients then that would be perfect.

Adding to the web idea a few of you have mentioned. I once was going to make a website that goes like this:
- Searching of freelancers
- Checking status of commission (updated by freelancer)
- Check text archives of commissions/tickets
- View/Add reviews
- Payments via the website (Easily do paypal & coinbase)

Yeah those all sound like great features for a service team website, thank you :)
