Guns did nothing wrong.

Take away guns out of the picture.

People would run around with knives.

Take knives out of the picture.

People would run around with their fists.

Take their fists away.

People would run around kicking and banging their heads at each other.

Point is: It's not the guns, it's the person operating it. It's a serious problem with the heart and intent. The person has freewill to do whatever they choose. The guns were purchased legally. Nothing was wrong with how they obtained the gun. Misuse of a weapon can happen from anyone who decides to flip a switch one day.

The only solution is to treat people with love and respect, regardless of who they are, and regardless of how hard it is. If we all love each other and show compassion and are free of judging, then we would have no crime. The crime erupts as a result of free will. There are people who like good decisions, and there are people who like bad decisions.

Even great people are good at making bad decisions.

In summary; it doesn't matter what your past is, it doesn't matter about your future. Nobody is allowed to judge you by who you were in the past or the future, rather than who you are RIGHT NOW. Love others, show compassion and kindness. Make a difference. That's the real solution. (I'm not saying you can't be mad at the person who shoots, of course that's frustrating and disturbing, but I'm talking about how this can be eliminated is by the plausibility that if we theoretically all decided to love one another, every single person on the earth, even if it was tough love; there would be little hate.) It all revolves around free will.

God bless everyone; praying for the victims in the shootings recently.

I mean you do realize that knives would be significantly less lethal, along with fists and your other points..

Anything can be lethal to the point of death if you use it properly.

Scissors, Pencils, Pens, anything.

Guns can be obtained illegally, or through police offers. Restricting the 2nd amendment wouldn't fix anything.

Yeah, but you get my point, you can't quickly mass murder with a pencil

You realise that was done by an illegal weapon that was never allowed in the country.
Idiots these days.
Yes ignore what I said. When I present something that counters your overall theory do you not take a moment to assess if your original claim may be inaccurate?

Last I checked some people did something on September 11th 2001 that mass murdered a ton of people with no guns involved.[DOUBLEPOST=1564979172][/DOUBLEPOST]Morale of the story: sick, crazy people will find a way whether it be pressure cooker nail bombs or using a rented uhaul truck to ram people on the street (all of which happened).

And since then, there have been radical reforms to protect from air attacks

TSA doesn't do much and has never prevented a single terror attack, but that is besides the point. My original purpose of bringing that up is to point out that mass murders will come up with different methods. In the UK there's no guns but there are acid attacks, homemade bombs, or rented uhaul trucks.

The United States of America has had 2 mass shootings in the past 24 hours. That makes 250 mass shootings in 2019 alone.

This seriously needs to stop! We need Gun Control legitslation now! It makes me sad to call myself an American in 2019.

If you are old enough to vote in 2020, please vote! Make informed decisions. Don't vote blindly.

The USA is the only country in the world that has this problem. Yes, other coutries have terrorism, but it's by outside extremist groups, not by the country's own people.

Did you know Texas is an "open-carry" state. This means it is completely legal for citizens with gun permits to carry a handgun or rifle into stores and other public places. I think this is stupid. Why do we have laws on the books that feel like they were made in 1776?

In my opinion, all guns, even for recreation should be made illegal and all citizens that own one should be forced to turn them in. The only people that should carry them should be police officers and military.
If you are old enough to make decision. Please do make them informed.

I'm talking to everyone here.
Do you want to know why we are stuck with Democrats and Republicans as president? Because people want to be on the winning side. What I mean, people vote mostly Democrats and Republicans because they have the mind set "any other party had no chance" and they are wrong. If we all voted purely on the candidate and not decided on what party they are from we would be better off as a country. There has been 1 election that has resulted in a party other than Democrat or Republican winning. 1! (Which I bet most of you did not know)

Now I'm not saying that our current president is bad or good. However I know that in the 2016 election, there were much better candidates for people to vote for in the election.
Democrats and republicans are not always the right choice.

In the end it comes down to research. If you really want to voice your opinion. Do research. How do other countries do this? Are their better systems? How could our current system be improved?

These question can be applied to a wide range of topics. Just 5 mins of research could change your entire opinion on something.

I mean yeah, technically true, TSA rarely catches people, but I'd argue the threat of their improved methods has gone a long way. They do unwarranted random tests and outright ban liquids etc.

Still besides the point. What about the fact that the UK has had a long enforced gun ban and they have similar mass murder problems. Whether the attackers use acid, trucks, bombs, knives, or guns there are still victims.
