Hello!
I'm currently looking for a Custom Optimized spigot version.
The server is intended to be an HCFactions server (1.7-1.8) with 300-350 players.
I have tested paperspigot and the tps are dropped to 13-14 tps with 300 players, that's why I need an optimized version.
If you have one coded, contact me.
If you can code it or make a better spigot version, contact me.
We can discuss about the price.

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

they wouldn't put 128gb to one minecraft server, it's literally useless

Just having a lot of ram isn't gonna make your servers run lightning fast.

It was implied.
How was that implied? Please re-read the post clearly. If anything I'm implying that their NA server had a large amount of ram. If you are going to reply to someones post on a thread, at least keep the response relevant to the thread itself, and not reply based off of assumptions you made.

If you clearly read the original reply I am stating that a 128 GB of ram is a reasonable amount for a server that will be under heavy player + plugin loads. And the reply "make your servers run lightning fast" makes absolutely no sense. I do not understand how a server can run "lightning fast" since it's speed doesn't necessarily matter, as long as it performs well.

Many large servers with over 1000 playerbase have a massive amount of ram and just because you "THINK" that they would not put a 128 gb of ram into a minecraft server is not worth even having a discussion on since whether you think something or not it will not change the facts.

If you don't know about OVH's plans they have a 32 GB plan and a 128 GB plan with cpu's and disk space being diferent in each.
Kohi most likely ran off of OVH's 128 gigabyte plan as their 32 specs were not the same as the 128 and not only in terms of amount of ram. You can clearly see that the 32 gb plan runs off of a i7 chip 4 core processor while their 128 runs off a xeon 6 core chip and overall all the specs for the 32 gb are of lower quality/tier/etc. I would highly assume that they ran off of the 128 GB for NA Practice, Factions, and 32 for their other servers on their network.

Whether or not people think differently it has been said by both prplz and archybot that Kohi runs off of OVH, and OVH provides 2 plans 32 GB and 128 GB. If you are going to claim that they did not have 128 GB, you might as well put your reasoning or some proof to back this up.

Regarding the original thread, Kohi ran off of OVH, and is PROBABLY running off of their 128 GB plan but even if they are running off of a 32 GB plan it does not change the fact that they have a dedicated server with a 250-500 mbps bandwidth. Your issue is either with your host, plugins, or overall server specs. But until you provide more information such as the timings that Shattered rather then getting any real help this is thread will be more of a complaint.

Do you think an Intel E3-1270v5 with 64 GB RAM only for HCF will work?[DOUBLEPOST=1470609815][/DOUBLEPOST]
You can actually optimise Spigot, but be prepared to spend a couple of hours.
The time is not at problem, if you have some ideas please let me know.

I agree with a few individuals in here, but what astounded me is that someone actually said that Kohi makes their practice server use 128gb of ram. No minecraft server will ever need that much ram, you want a lag free server with 300-500 players? Optimize your paper and spigot configurations, and make sure your plugins aren't made by bafoons.
