PermissionsEX not working. Need help

Hi guys,

I am currently in the process of making a Factions server and is all going well, however when i restart my server, the PermissionsEX.jar file changes size from 700kb to 1kb and the plugins does not work, the permissions.yml does not change and to get PeX to work again I have to replace the .jar file until another restart? I've checked console for error messages and there is nothing?
The server is 1.7 / 1.8, any help please??

This is very strange, I'd download a fresh version and try that. Also, what version is your server? When it shrinks size, what's the file extension? Still .jar?

I've done that, i've removed pex completely and replaced it with a new jar, the server remains 1.8 and nothing changes[DOUBLEPOST=1482418983][/DOUBLEPOST]

I'm guessing you are using an incompatible version of PEX.

I've downloaded most pex files off of the bukkit server

He said console has no errors, if it was incompatible, it should of said so in console.
