Rainbow usernames

Hello there!

So yeah, it's been suggested several times to add rainbow usernames. Since at the moment MC-Market can use all financial support it can get, I've decided to consider this.

I was thinking of adding it and giving users 2 options.

1. You can pay for the rainbow quarterly. Every time it expired, you'd have to buy it again.
2. You can pay a larger one time price.

So BOTH options would be put available. This feature is purely to support MC-Market and is nothing but cosmetic.

What approach or price would you guys like to see?

I obviously want this to be fairly unique but at the same time want to make it affordable.

In my opinion the best and only way to do this would be having it be available if you purchase every name color as nara~kavi has already said. This would end up being $35 as there are 7 colors, and that is more than enough for a rainbow name lol. If you did it any other way people would either consider you a money whore or nobody would buy it

Maybe make it so when people buy all of the available name colors. They can have it?

I feel like this color should be exclusive only. Maybe having an exclusive sale with the color for one month at high prices and don't bring the color back again for a long long long time.

I think these should be the prices if implemented.

$15 a month
$50 + a name color of your choice

Also, maybe a setting to be able to change your name color instead of asking staff to do it, and you may only change it every 14 days

Could be done that way but maybe if you have donated for every color you get a discounted price since yeah that would be useless to me and a couple others. Also that's kind of high price wise as most people would just not use the monthly fee and the overall cost of $50 does fit what Bosny is looking for but I don't think many people would look into buying it for that price as they'd rather invest in something else for that amount of money.

Well its a subscription based to start off with which just seems to be more of a pain in the add than anything.
Then their is the fact that if multiple people use it, it will destroy the recent post area with rainbow aids.
And then their is the price of $50 (I think) which is just ridiculous for a colour name on a website.

I like the rainbow color and all but if this becomes a reality we might as well throw away our professional look. I think those should be a limited time offer sort of color. It should stay for enough time to get Mc-Market some quick and easy money. We don't need every user with a rainbow name anyway.
