Remove profile "gender" from public view

The author of the suggestion thread I mentioned this on trashed his thread to get rid of all of the disagree ratings he acquired.

To restate my previous points, it's being used shamelessly to catfish and gain favor from hormonal teenage boys.
Additionally, the unfortunate females of our forum are harassed with vulgar requests.
Someone's gender should have no relevancy within a marketplace context.

We're all human and members of this community. That's all that should be needed to be known to make fair and respectable comments/transactions with one another.

While it is a bit cringe-worthy that boys will be more likely to purchase from females, if we removed gender from users profile it wouldn't fix the problem in my opinion. The type of users who try to use their gender to their advantage don't just set their gender to female, they make sure to have a pink name colour and picture of themselves (or some random girl) as their profile picture and make it painfully obvious that they're a female.

I see no reason to remove gender from the site since if we do the people who use their gender to catfish will just continue to do so.
